Steven Tyler Is Engaged To A Woman All His Kids Hate
I hope Steven Tyler is not expecting big attendance at his third wedding. It was finally confirmed after a couple of days of rumors that Steven Tyler is engaged to his girlfriend Erin Brady. I have yet to hear one positive thing from any of Steven's kids about Erin. Apparently they just consider her flat out mean and rude. Oh, and spoiled. Oh, and self-entitled. Apparently they have communicated this to their father and Steven just starts screaming and singing into the microphone he carries around with him. When he gets like that no one can talk to him.

His kids are all grown up and are leading their own lives. And he's been dating this woman since 2006. They don't need anyone's approval.
However, if the shower 'incidents" are any indication, he should not be making big decisions like getting married.
One word: Prenup!

It's not like the kids have to live with her. If she makes him happy that's all that matters.

I think his kids are upset because they consider her a bad influence. He was clean and sober for years before dating her and ever since then he has gone back to his party hard ways. He's a grown man who makes his own decisions, but If I saw a destructive force in a loved ones life you can be sure I wouldn't be happy about it.
I was listening to the re-broadcast of the Howard Stern interview with Steven and Erin and she really comes across very low class. She bragged about bringing other women into the bed and proud she buys her own drugs.
He doesn't need their approval but it says something when none of his kids like her. Heather Mills is a great example of that. Sometimes you can't see the person you love for who they really are.
She sounds like a real prize to me.

Lol Shehla. Actually, after googling her, that's a pretty good picture of her. She's not really a looker, but could also pass for one of his daughters or himself.
If she's a hard partyer, I can see why the kids want no parts of her in his life. Bragging about buying her own drugs?!? Good lord, this is what people are proud about?!?!?
Hopefully, Steven comes to his senses before saying I do. If your fam does not support your choice in a spouse, perhaps it is wise to listen to them.

From watching him on Idol I think Steven is a lovable goof ball, and I still like his music.
In lieu of not marrying her, I hope he at least gets the pre nup.

She's NOT a nice person! I had a stepmom like her once that was only a couple of years older than me and it was a nightmare! She was jealous of us children and did whatever she could to turn our dad against us. It took forever for my dad to get over her, even after she moved out while he was out of town visiting his sick mom, taking everything in the house and emptying all of his accounts. We didnt have even a chair to sit in when we came home!
Sigh.. Why men go for women like this still befuddles me!

That dress definitely isn't appropriate for daytime street wear, and would really work for night only w/plenty of double-stick tape. And yeah, if all your kids hate your S.O.'s guts, and you know for a fact said kids (1) generally have their heads screwed on right, and (2) really do care about you, then you might just want to rethink your relationship w/said S.O. (Exhibit A: Paul McCartney & Heather Mills) Yes, there are greedy kids who don't want their parent to remarry for fear of having to share the inheritance, but I've heard just as many (if not more) stories about greedy stepparents who manage to poison the parents' minds against their own children and/or clean them out financially. I don't understand why people have to behave like that, and I don't suppose I ever will...
