  1. wow, totally off. pretty much all of us said Brolin

  2. Silicon Valley has been good without TJ.

  3. I thought the descriptor was more Miller than Brolin, but Brolin is more prominently featured in the ads.

  4. Piece of trash both of them.

  5. “I hate a Eric Backman, he is fat white pig.”
    -Jian Yang.

  6. Anyone else going to miss TJ Miller as the voice of the giant snot in those Mucinex commercials? Me neither.

  7. Corky, I laughed so hard at that! "Why does the neighborhood smell like bacon?"

  8. I thought it was about Brolin...but both of them are pieces of trash, so..
I guess Ryan is too busy proving how in love him and Blake are, attending every event they can get to, to really care about Miller....
A little off topic but I found hilarious that he felt the need to shut down a rumor spread by OK magazine and reposted by an indian outlet...as if it was the first time someone claimed he and Lively were on the rocks. That rumor would have gone unnoticed if he hadnt denied.

  9. @Corky I was in LA over New Year and was at a gay bar in the village. I was sitting at the bar minding my own business and trying to call back to England because my bank card was blocked. When I sorted it out, I was overhearing a conversation about Silicon Valley and the Emmys and this guy going on about how fun it is to be in the show, turn around and its the dude who plays Jian Yang. I try to make it look like I notice him....turns out he was on a first date with someone and it was the most cringe worthy soul crushing first date I have ever ever seen.

  10. Silicon Valley is giving Miller the Lorre/Sheen treatment. Makes me wonder if there's more to his departure than 'to concentrate on his stand-up career'.

  11. What did Miller do?

  12. TJ insulted the dude playing Richard and said the writers of the show weren't funny. Allegedly he was high and/or drunk all the time and wouldn't show up, or if he did, he wouldn't have read the script and he'd often fall asleep on set.

  14. Also, TJ Miller accused of sexually and physically assaulting a girlfriend in college.

  15. Wow, not funny and a piece of shit. His dumb bro humor was always barely tolerable, TJ always had to be carried by co-stars. I just figured he was RR's rentboy and RR was trying to save money by casting him.

  16. Of course there's more to his departure than what's been told. That's how it works. They find out they're going to get exposed, so they arrange to get accused of one of their milder offenses, and bow out of the limelight hoping to come back after the dust clears.

  17. Enty was generous with his rating. The woman he is said to have assaulted did report it to the College ,this was of course before he was famous.

  18. The early trailer I saw for Deadpool 2 looked extremely like it's 'trying too hard' to be funny, clever, cool, whatever.

Not my thing most of this MCU / DCEU stuff. Especially not my thing if it's shielding a #HimThough. #TimesUp to that crap from this chick.

  19. I think TJ Miller is funny. People who write he's a hack are wrong. But he's a second banana type, he'll never make it solo. And I remember his denials about the college accusations being credible. It's his unexpected exit from "Silicon Valley," bashing the show and his co-stars on the way out, that makes me think he's a bad dude. Didn't pass the smell test at all.

  20. I never liked him, he always had a rapey vibe.

  21. Disappointing to see them keep him on the payroll.

  23. He never physically appears even once in the movie but they decided not to replace him in Ready Player One, either. God bless cam rips, I felt robbed enough of my time and will to live without shelling out for a ticket. Maybe Spielberg felt back for a sexual predator down on his luck and wanted to help.

My other theories involve getting to piss on Kubrick one more time and getting to cast the "11-year-old Asian wunderkind" character over... and over... and over... until he found the perfect kid.

  24. Great read on why some stars are getting a pass and others are not:

If it won't financially hurt the movie, those at the top do not care.

You have seen him yourself? Could you tell us more?

I really enjoyed the first one, but 2 looks awful.

  28. How is TJ Miller a benefit to the film? Granted I’ve never knowingly watched anything with him in, but I have seen his stand-up live, (headline act, gawd help us), and dude wasn’t that funny. Better than the other American they brought over as a support, whose stuff might have been amusing back in the 90s when it was fresh, but still I was flummoxed as to why Miller was a draw.

I went for one of the other supports and he had us howling with laughter.

  29. Hmmm. I love Silicon Valley, it's one of my favorites. It's weird, because I absolutely think that Thomas Middleditch is by far the weakest link in the cast and the only times I thought he was was funny was when he was playing off Miller (who I thought was hilarious on the show, but can't stand in anything else.)

That said, TJ Miller seems like an absolute nightmare of a human being to deal with, so if there was something that happened between Middleditch and Miller, and all signs point toward there being something, I guess I can't fault the showrunners for siding with Middleditch.

  30. I used to waitress private parties for some elite executives on the east coast. About 4 years ago RR was one of the guests. he was not with blake. It was some couples and people in the industry (behind the scenes people). I don't know how to explain it - he's like that guy that tries REALLY hard to be cool, but he's just a complete asshole. He was making fun of how one of the girls i was working with looked. She wasn't fat but had some nice curves on her. Kept talking about asking her to refill drinks cuz she can use the exercise. Or. i hate when ugly people talk to me after she offered him an hors deurve or however you spell it. She was crying. Can you imagine you're all excited to meet one of your favorite celebrities to be treated like that?

He's the fat kid turned not fat guy who thinks he can treat people like shit fuck that dude.
