How long did those nude scenes take that she had to re-pierce (I'm serious, I have no idea how quickly the piercing close there)?
@NotAgain, It does seem unreasonably quick to heal, but we don't know the gauge or how fast she heals. Maybe she takes them out for the entire movie.
They heal quickly and they don't close up all that fast if you take them out for a period of time. Unless she had some unusually large gauge, she should be able to get away with it. And here's a concept; why not just let her appear with her piercings. Its 2019 after all.

Maybe it's a Method thing? If the character wouldn't have them, she can't, either?
Well she does make a couple of good points.
I call BS again on this. CGI can do anything nowadays, like re-animate the DEAD in holograms. They can't somehow blur Margot Robbie's nipple rings enough so you don't see them. I think she doesn't want to do topless scenes anymore (and who'd blame her anymore)
