Today's Blind Items - The MLM Queen
I have written about this back in the day A list mostly television actress before. When I previously wrote about her, I had no idea that what I thought was just one MLM scam she was running, but dozens. Almost every single MLM scam being offered right now, has this former actress behind it. She is older now, but uses that fleet of private jets to make deals with companies she thinks have a good scam going because she can take it to the next level. Even products that have been out for a long time that you think are run by established companies over decades have all been bought by the actress. If not bought, outright, than at least a majority share. Those people trying to sell you makeup are working for her. Those people selling you water softeners or products you must have your home are being sold by her. When people start reporting a company to the authorities in whatever country it is, she just changes the name and starts again. In the US, she is a force in multiple super PAC's which assures her that nothing will ever happen to her. Oh, sure she might have to pay a fine, but that's it. Even though she has taken tens, if not hundreds of millions of dollars from people who can least afford it, nothing will happen to her. She knows it and is becoming more brazen.

My money is on Suzanne Somers. I just googled her name and added scam. Tons of complaints come up. I knew she used to sell on QVC and HSN more than a decade ago. So she's worked her way up to outright fraud. Sad.

DeleteSuzanne Somers has a lot of high priced product lines,I don't know if they are MLM or not. What about Jessica Alba? Or even Goop? I am going with my Alba guess though.
ReplyDelete@Ann,lots of health and beauty products with Suzanne,bogus claims, etc. That's the stuff you get fined for,but I could not find MLM products. Maybe more behind the scenes on that? Or maybe I will to sign up, then we'll know!

frankly...with all that money and plenty of (mostly) decent facial and bodywork plastic surgery already done...she oughta have the surgeon work on that 73 year old neck.

I say Suzanne Somers is an excellent guess, she's not as dumb as she looks.
I'm going with Suzanne Somers here. She's been sketchy since day one... While yes, she was #MeToo way before #MeToo, but her whole reason for walking away from 3's Company was lawsuit and settlement. She didn't think she'd lose, but she did. It took her years to get back to television. She's been a whirlwind of product endorsements since. A few years ago she was on every talk show hyping her synthetic hormone crap that supposedly cured her cancer, healed her wrinkles and made it possible for her and her hubby to have sex multiple times a day - every day.... She also graced twitter and Instagram with an 'in the buff' picture just a few weeks ago for her 73rd birthday as a testament to what her synthetic hormones can do - no mention of plastic surgeon though!

ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean, "Career"? Why are you mocking? Somers was a major Vegas entertainer, was voted Vegas Entertainer of the Year in the 80s. She is far more than "Chrissy"; she's also a damn good vocalist and dancer, in addition to acting. Held a leading role in another hit TV show with Patrick Duffy; she's a best selling author of books on natural healing and hormone replacement. If there is anyone who has challenged the status quo, come back from being fired, and shown everyone, it's Suzanne. When you are worth around 110 million like Somers, come back and talk to us.
Cowpie, why would you blame her husband for any shady dealings she may be into? Isn’t she a strong and empowered woman that has navigated her way through Hollywood for at least 40 years now? She’s no victim and it’s ridiculous to think she has no agency here. People talk about male privilege but I never see anything like the privilege women get whenever they do something wrong. They’re never to blame, somehow a man is always to blame. Not very equal and feminist, is it?
ReplyDeleteIf it is Suzanne, I'm sad to hear it. She has done wonders on educating people on mold illness and the health impacts of living with mold. As someone whose health was devastated by mold exposure, I had to see her lose credibility.

ReplyDeleteMy money is on Suzanne Somers. She's been linked to several MLMs for years and also seems to have a plausible Net Worth to continue picking up and starting on other MLMs as the blind says without fearing that she'll lose somehow.
