Blind Item #13

This permanent A+ list singer/actress/celebrity offspring was scheduled to be honored with a very big award, but her health is to the point where she really can't even travel the distance it would take to be so honored. Meanwhile, one of the honorees basically bought his way in by trading some parts in future projects to the decision makers and their respective partners/significant others.

    What award is Liza scheduled to receive? I'd think this BI is referring to the Kennedy Center Awards, but Cher and Reba McIntyre are the female honorees.

    Are they saying Lin-Manuel “bought the award”? Wayne Shorter and Philip Glass are tremendous talents, but I don’t think either one is in a position to be handing out jobs.
