I am kind of in awe at how she does it, but this A-/B+ list mostly television actress all of you know who has had other, umm, more unusual gigs while also acting managed to talk producers out of about $20K to buy clothes for the press of her new show. She then pocketed the money and used clothes she got for free from designers.

She must come across as friendly and charming. It works for a lot of narcissists.
I can't believe History channel had 20k to drop on clothes. But bless her heart, I doubt she got a big paycheck for a basic cable show.
I think the real shocking thing here is that she's considered A-/B+ list. I can't name one single thing she has done that I am even remotely familiar with.

My wife used to work in celebrity services at Calvin Klein - celebrities would come in to "borrow" couture dresses for an event and then would never return them. Big celebrities never gave stuff back. Lindsay Lohan (when she was hot back in the day) used to bring her mom in and they'd all basically just shop couture and never pay for anything and nobody would ever say anything.
BUT if you weren't a big enough celebrity they'd shut you down - William Fitchner was one of the nicest guys and always brought stuff he borrowed back but word came down from on high that he was not to get access to the closet any longer...so my poor wife had to tell him no, he couldn't borrow anything. She felt awful but he was very nice about it.
It's shitty but it's the way the game goes. You're getting press for your brand.
Olivia Munn can wear the clothes, so the designers are happy to give them to her. If she doesn't get enough pap shots or gains weight or anything though she can kiss all that goodbye.
@CJ OH no William Fichter is super nice!! Very down to earth and friendly.
