More From The Insider On Lindsay And Riley
The insider wanted to let me know what was going on with the relationship between Riley and Lindsay since they are not currently in the same city.
"Riley is as happy as I have ever seen him. He is doing great with both his recovery and with his relationship with Lindsay. Lindsay was naturally upset when Bree started spewing all her lies to the media, but Lindsay understood that Riley had told her about Bree and had never lied to Lindsay about the relationship or when or how it ended. Lindsay understood that and realized that Riley has Lindsay's best interests at heart and was not just looking out for himself. Riley and Lindsay talk to each other constantly over the phone and text almost as much. Although things are serious between the couple, they are taking it day by day just like with their recovery. The current plans are for Lindsay and Riley to get back together when Lindsay heads back to Utah for outpatient treatment. If for some reason, due to her busy schedule that she doesn't go back to Utah, than Riley will head to LA to give Lindsay the love and support he can provide. Recover is important to them both which is why even though Inside Edition and others want to talk to Riley today or have him comment, he may hold off a few days to make sure that it fits in with his recovery. He's worked too hard on his recovery just to let it go away in an instant just because he is trying to fulfill media demands on a relationship he considers private."

Honestly though, if this guy can help her or if they can help each other, I wish them the best of luck. Unfortunately, these rehab hook-ups rarely go the distance.

So...I'm confused. Is he private or not?? Holding 'off for a few days' doesn't sound private to me. It sounds like someone needs to get the bullshit straight before they talk.

I thought a person fresh out of rehab was supposed to avoid relationships for a year (while in recovery)? Especially someone who has just come out of rehab like herself.
Grace - you are right. If the relationship breaks up and they were relying on each other, then one or both of them could fall to pieces.
