Beth Chapman?? In a coma now.
The Bounty Hunter Family
Wtf is a permanent life event? Sex change? Death?
Think it’s being taken off life support... she’s in a coma
She's highly medicated and family will remove life support.
Dog didn't want to be the one to address being taken off life support so the daughter agreed to be the one. He just couldn't make that decision, which is horribly hard.
Did we ever find out the throat cancer: was it HPV?
i was thinking of the BI about the stepdaughter who was going to turn off life support for her hated stepmother, and the stepmother was good with it.
I don’t think Beth was a smoker. At all. But dog always smoked in the vehicles around her. I really hope this is an a tragic case of secondhand smoke causing her throat cancer
Isn’t*
This is just so super tragic. As someone who has lost their mother, I can’t imagine how her children are feeling right now. Just so heartbreaking. This is going to be the finish of d
Dog :-(
Stupidity.
she smoked on the show. ..
I had to do this, I never wish that decision to fall on anybody here.
sorry to hear that @sb.
I interviewed her once for a job. She was lovely and so sweet. One of my first interviews. Hoping she will pull through.
Why is this a BI?
This is so sad. Poor guy, I wouldn't want to make that decision either
No..she was not a smoker. She may have been in younger years, but never on the show.
@sandy: being in the hospital room when my mom decided she was going to die that day was no picnic, either. She was lucid til the shot of morphine took over. But it was absolutely her decision and if my mom knew one thing, she never overstayed her welcome.
I will add this: it takes balls to end your own life.
Yeah it does Megley. My uncle also did this he was pretty sick in the hospital and was going to die, so the night before he had told my aunt "this is no way to live (hooked up to machines). He called my aunt every morning, the next morning he didn't. She rushed to the hospital and they told her he pulled all the wires out of him.
Hard thing to do but everyone in our family has made it clear to each other that after a few weeks of life support, a major accident, a terminal illness or brain dead, that the plug is to be pulled. Or no medication and make the patient as comfortable as possible (morphine) until the end. Talk about it now, it will save a lot of difficulty later on. Some people will chose to fight other will say let me RIP.
And they just announced she died.
l unfortunately had to take my daughter off of life support as she was brain dead and she was my 3rd child and my then husband left the NCU , leaving me to sign the papers to donate her heart...lt was the hardest thing in my life l have had to do and l would never wish that for anyone, even if l had enemies..l would have gladly taken her place so she had a chance to live and it is so heart wrenching, l cannot watch or listen to anything talking about organ donation or babies dying..l was a Nurse and l saw the Dr. clearly panicked and made the worst mistake, killing my daughter in an instant but over 25 yrs alone, l still find Christmas hard to get through as she died then..What a horrible , horrible thing to have to end your child's life like that..
My thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to the family at this tragic time..
