Bourne would snap Bond's neck in a heartbeat. Unless it was Connery Bond. Then Bourne would be killed by getting slapped in the face... one time.
Connery would give Damon a coupl3 smacks to remind him of his place.
Bond. His gadgets always save the day.
Actually f*ck them both, Snake Plissken would murder both of them before flicking a cigarette butt on their corpses.
Is it Bond bolstered by Q's gizmos? I love the face smack comment, but I'll go Bourne hand to hand, Bond any other situation.
Bond. But Jack Reacher (the book version, NOT Tom Cruise!) would beat both, no question.
Bourne. Bourne had that McGyver ability to kill with whatever was nearby. Bond needed all his fancy pants gadgets.

Since Cruise was starring in them, I thought they might rename the character Jack Reacharound.
No matter how they edit Damon he comes off about as tough as Urkel. I say Bieber even beats him.

+1 Spider Rico. I read the Bourne series. I never could accept Damon as Bourne so I never saw his Bourne movies. Good point.

Bourne, for sure. Mainly because 007 does nothing for me in any incarnation and Matt Damon was pretty badass in those movies.

Bourne, he drive cars and motorcycles super fast on any surface without losing control.
Bond and Bourne would fight with intent to kill but decide they like each other and start a bromance. They would then have martinis, shaken, not stirred.
Bourne, because he's unexpected and doesn't care.
The same reason other commenters 'don't see Matt Damon as tough guy Bourne' is exactly the reason he would win the fight. Nothing is as powerful as the unexpected. He's not your usual 'tough guy' and that makes him invisible and powerful.
And secondly because he wouldn't care about his looks while kicking ass. Bond seems a little too precious at times.
