James Lipton Was A Pimp
James Lipton, host of the show Inside The Actor's Studio supported himself when he was young and living in Paris by pimping out a girlfriend. In his new book, James says that he and his lady friend made a very good living, selling her out and also arranging sex shows. Although she was French, most of her clients were Americans that James would find out on the streets and drag up to the apartment he shared with his hooker.
James says he got into the business because he couldn't get a work permit while in France and needed to do something to earn a buck. James suggests that it was the woman who first approached him about being her pimp and he agreed.
Now when I watch James interviewing some actress, I will always wonder if he is trying to decide how much he could get for her per hour.

This sounds tragically like someone attempting to make themselves appear much more interesting than in fact they really are. The guy has the personality of a tsetse fly. Not surprisingly the net effect of watching him for any length of time results in what these creatures can pass to humans -- being, sleeping sickness.

He always struck me as gay as well. I wonder if this is merely a fantasy to try and get some straight cred? True or fantasy - revolting.
Gawker has been slamming Lipton ever since his book came out. I think there was a post last week claiming he was more like an "Assistant Pimp", which is hilarious and also sad.
I would make a joke about keeping the "pimp hand strong" but its really not worth it.
I think the main reason everyone thinks Lipton is into manlovin' is because he has that artificial voice.
