Michael Vick Just Keeps Digging A Bigger Hole

Michael Vick who is currently awaiting sentencing on federal charges related to his bankrolling of a dogfighting operation was indicted yesterday on state charges of beating or killing or causing dogs to fight other dogs and engaging in or promoting dogfighting.

The thing is the charges yesterday are just one drip to the flood that is his life now.

Turns out that Michael Vick is coping with his problems by smoking a little pot. The problem with that is he has mandatory drug testing as a part of his release while awaiting that federal sentencing.

Because of the result, U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson placed special conditions on Vick's release, including restricting him to his home between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. with electronic monitoring and ordering him to submit to random drug testing.

The 27-year-old former Virginia Tech star was placed under pretrial release supervision by U.S. Magistrate Dennis Dohnal in July. The restrictions included refraining from use or unlawful possession of narcotic drugs or other controlled substances.

The random drug testing ordered Wednesday could include urine testing, the wearing of a sweat patch, a remote alcohol testing system or any form of prohibited substance screening or testing.

Hudson's order also requires Vick to participate in inpatient or outpatient substance therapy and mental health counseling, if the pretrial services officer or supervising officer deem it appropriate. Vick must pay for the treatment.

I am not going to defend Michael Vick, but if I was looking at as much jail time as he is, I might not say no to a little pharmaceutical help either. What can they do to him? Really, the only thing they can do is make him start serving his sentence sooner. Might as well do what you can now because once you get to jail, it's going to be a whole lot tougher to get hammered.

I'd puff puff pass too. His nerves are on tilt because he knows he's gonna do some years in jail and possibly become someone's bitch or maybe get shanked.

Yeah, I'd smoke too.

I don't know if anyone would want to make VIC their "bitch" because he had a case of herpes in 2003 where a female filed suit and charges against him (google it)!! said...

Seriously, give the guy a break. I smell racism in every corner of this case.

The ONLY racism in this case comes from racist morons like Whoopi Goldberg, saying stuff like "dogfighting is part of his culture".

Yeah, right, Whoopi. Just like SLAVERY was part of Southern culture, too, right? Would Whoopi be saying this crap on THE VIEW if Vick was WHITE? No way! Just like SHARPTON, all black people are somehow 'misunderstood' and 'railroaded' by white people, who are ALL RACISTS anyway, right?

What kind of ANIMAL does such things? That's right: MICHAEL VICK.

Now, we hear that his 'Bad Newz Kennels' are connected to a MURDER in N. Carolina. Hey, it's not a big step from killing DOGS to killing PEOPLE. Most psychotic murderes begin by abusing animals.

Good thing SICK VICK is off the streets. Let him ROT IN JAIL.

Wow Dave. You seem grumpy today. Is everything alright? We understand you are angry with Al and Whoopi, but don't take their comments to be the mindthink of blacks in general.

I think what he did was atrocious, however there are people across the globe who are treated worse than Vick treated those dogs. My concern is the constant focus on his trial rather than the mistreatment of animals in general.

Are you anrgy at Paris or Britney for getting their flavor of the week dogs and then putting them to the wayside like yesterday's fuck?

Instead, all we hear about how terrible HE is and not the crimes he committed. Believe me this issue is much bigger than Michale Vick himself.

Shari, ewww! I didn't know that! Maybe he'll make someone HIS bitch then? Do they let inmates take their Valtrex in jail? Just wondering.

I'll see him in hell.

I am angry at the fact that he was given a big opportunity and just pissed it away. Idiot. His career is over.

He's said his primary goal is getting thru his incarceration and playing football again. Not helping himself very much I think.
