No one could even figure out why this foreign born former A+ list singer was at a party in the desert. She crashed it. No one was going to kick her out, but it was the most random thing ever. Apparently she wanted selfies with everyone there who is famous now. Trying to appeal to a younger audience? Trying to find a producer who will do what her ex did and let her take the credit for what he did?

Instead seems she wants to recreate the magic she once had in front of the crowd. Would rather see her retreat into the background.

I went to the first Coachella in 1999 when it was really gritty and fun, before it turned into a fashion show. I'm so glad I went then and not now! Now I'm over 40 and wouldn't be caught dead there!!!

ReplyDeleteIs coachella reserved for tween and hipsterish youngster? Music have no age. When you're old you should stay home and stop enjoying yourself? What the hell. And she's 52. And even if she was 110 I think it would be awesome that she still goes to major events.
Anyway Jay Kay also had a puffy face but nobody talks about it.

ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with going to a music festival as a middle-aged person, but Coachella has become a joke. People go there to be seen, not to enjoy themselves. At 50 you should be beyond that.

DeletePeople live til their mid-80s these days, to think people should just go out to pasture at 50 and sit around waiting to die is a waste of life. I think it is amazing she is out there experiencing things, enjoying music and socializing at her age

Shania was in Nicki Minaj's instagram and they were hanging together i think on Saturday night at Coachella. I swear I had to do a triple take when i saw that.

@Tricia13 Enty's Shania hate is nothing new. Back when Mutt cheated on her with the BFF and she took up with the BFF's husband and then married him, there was a lot of shade tossed around in his posts and in the comments. A few commenters were pointing out that she hasn't been honest about aspects of her upbringing, hinting that they knew the truth from being from that area or some such excuse.
ReplyDeleteI love her voice and have always been a fan of her music. Her backstory was compelling, but if it's false and manufactured, well, she's just one of hundreds of others who played the game. Nothing will ever come close to what she and Mutt accomplished together; it's too bad she still seems to be chasing that glory instead of enjoying the spoils in retirement.
