Today's Blind Items - At Least He Got Fired
I am going to put your sleuthing skills to the test today. Back in the day, this show was always in the top 10 television shows. It is iconic and several pieces from the set are displayed in museums. A young late comer to the show started when she was a tween and ended up an Academy Award winner/nominee as well as a flash in the pan A lister who has a lot of talent. That talent and the people on the set protected her and fired the offender who sexually molested and assaulted her for two seasons of the show. When our actress finally told someone, they fired him. He never got more than an episode of any television show until his death.
An interesting side note is that she was best friends with someone she met on a movie. That best friend was hooking up with this at the time A list mostly television actor from an acting family and a hit show. He tried to date rape our actress at a party while he was hooking up with the best friend of the actress. When our actress fought him off, he retaliated by screwing over the best friend of our actress.

ReplyDeleteShe came in after Mike, Gloria and Joey moved to CA. She, Stephanie, was the child of e of Edith's relatives (dude was a drunk and vagrant). One notable storyline was when Archie bought her a Star of David necklace after finding out Stephanie was Jewish (mother was). After Edith died, Archie raised her.

ReplyDelete@Lucy - she came on towards the end as either Edith's or Archie's niece/great niece. Her father was a loser/absentee so Archie & Edith took her in. Once Edith died, she stayed with Archie & went with him to Archie's place for as long as that ran.

Cameron and Julie dated on the show, but never officially in real life. Kirk is so super christian I cant see him being a cheating rapist, but Baio, most definitely. I know a lot of hardcore Christians are just for show and super kink on the DL, but I think Kirk is kind of legit in his ways.

DeleteAh, I remember her now. Sweet kid. So she came on the first show when she was 9, and the second show ended when she was 14. For two seasons during that span, an actor molested her, and when she told the people in charge, all the men on set beat him to within an inch of his life and then turned him over to the cops.
ReplyDeleteNo wait, I got that last part wrong. They actually fired him and kept quiet, except to make sure he never got a great role again, so he continued his career as a guest star on many shows. Wonder how many more victims he found on all those sets.

@SillyWhabbit there's 2 different actors here. The child molester actor- who didn't get much work after, and the date rape actor. People are guessing Baio and Cameron as the date rape actor.
