I've often wondered why he didn't drop it before, but I suppose it is possible he's been in detention so long that the damage control teams may have been able to neutralize much of what he would expose. And the media is so ridiculously corrupt at this point (they're not even trying to pretend anymore), I'm not sure much of it would be allowed to get coverage, other than coverage of the "nothing to see here, folks" type.
