Another day and another vulture coming out of the woodwork to try and shake down the estate of this foreign born permanent A list singer. The idea is to just cause as much trouble as possible and be enough of a nuisance where someone just cuts them a check for $1M if they can get it. My guess is they will get something in the very low six figures. They have no chance of winning, but it is more about weighing how much it will cost to prove that against just cutting that check.

after watching the Showtime documentary I felt so awful for George he really just wanted a happy life and just couldn't ever get there. Money and all the fame in the world mean nothing when you're adrift in life.

what exactly is left to care about defending in the estate of George Michael? He's dead, what future projects is this going to effect?
His legacy, his image, his reputation, and financially his estate can continue to provide revenue from licensing his work. If he is disparaged publicly it can have a negative effect on all of it.
Hopefully the people who do care about him do not want his memory tarnished.
Fadi is not ‘coming out of the woodwork’. He’s been a problem since George died. Still refusing to vacate one of George’s houses, tried selling some of GM’s belonging on E-Bay, and his latest claim, published in the DM & the Sun, is that GM died by suicide & actually died on Christmas Eve (not the 25th) which was his mother’s birthday. He also claims that GM had 4 prior attempts.
George had already broken up with this POS before his death, but was letting him stay in one of his houses temporarily, because he was a nice guy. The sisters (who are the beneficiaries of his will), already gave him about $250,000 to start a new life.
@Matt, I believe that what is left to defend is, not only the sisters’ rights to his estate (and the ability to settle the estate and move on), but also this slimebag’s threats. I’m assuming he’s probably threatening to write a tell-all. The family has been very private since his death, and did not release the toxicology report, etc. They just want to grieve, settle his estate, and move on. This guy was NOT in the will, and was NOT GM’s boyfriend at the time of death.
He’s just going to keep leaking things & trying to blackmail the family. If it were me, I would just evict him from the house and move forward. Let him go on his rants or write a book or whatever. Everyone already knows that this guy is a lying scumbag, so I don’t think he’s a believable source, and George
Michael’s fans (of which I’m one) are very loyal & will remember him for his kindness, generosity, & wonderful music. (Plus we already know all about his sex life & drug use so what else is there to tell?)
My guess is someone is alleging GM gave him HIV.

This is not about Fadi. However, Fadi is a total piece of shit.
I have worked in the higher echelons of the music industry for years and George is the ONLY person that I've never heard anyone saying a bad word about. Just a genuinely lovely and extremely talented person.
