I have written and spoken about this case before. What I never knew until Sunday night though is that this permanent A list mostly movie actor who really got a career boost a couple of years back with a new franchise, reached out to police about this case. He wasn't home when it happened, but came back home a few days after. Because his house has a lot of video cameras and was in the right place at the right time, he had video which would be really useful. The cameras were focused more on the front yard and door, so you can't see the actual crime in progress but you could see the shape of a person coming and then fleeing afterwards. He called the police and told them, but they didn't seem interested. He had his agent call for him too, and still the police weren't interested. When he downloaded the footage and emailed it to them, he never heard back. He thinks it shows the killer because of the time stamp and to this day is frustrated because he can't find out if anyone ever saw it.

This is ridiculous. If the LAPD aren't paying attention, go to the FBI. It's not like "Oh well, I tried but the police are corrupt."
Just one more giant conspiracy theory for Enty to conjure up.
The cops chalked it up to a botched car robbery gone wrong. The person they were going to arrest killed himself. Just a lot of questions and no answers and the LAPD have no interest in looking into it further.

Krab, it wasn't a kidnapping and not a federal crime--FBI has no jurisdiction so they are not relevant.
If city/county law enforcement are not doing their job next level to investigate them is State Police--but Sacramento is as corrupt as LA.
If someone has PROOF that a city /county LEO agency is looking the other way, THEN FBI/Justice comes in.
Ronni was a high powered publicist for decades in LA. She knew where the bodies were buried. Most likely she finally pissed off the wrong person who took a hit out on her.
Evidence, not proof, and guess what, Keanu is going to be listened to whoever he calls. This is the usual bullshit blind. If he really has something, and no one is law enforcement is listening, then go to the press.

If police wanted the video, they would have canvassed the area for security cameras and gotten a warrant for it.
It is a really interesting case. Thumbs up to Keanu for making repeated efforts.

The Beverly Hills police were determined to put a lid on this one, it was highly suspicious from the beginning.

The Beverly Hills cops said it was a homeless person riding a bike. Yeah, right, like he was able to take his shaky hands off the handlebars, aim a gun, and shoot point blank the first time.
There was a theory Ms. Chasen's brother was in debt to the Mafia big time. They killed his sister to show him how serious they were about getting their money back.
Rabbit, that actually seems more plausible than her knowing where any bodies were buried. Ronni was a high powered publicist in her NICHE with was very specialized. I had cause to work with her and her people on occasion and don't see her in the same vein as your typical publicist. Ronni's expertise was award marketing (BAFTA, Golden Globes, Oscars, etc) but more specifically getting the composers and songs of her clients nominated. The only thing other than your suggestion is if she sabotaged another publicists campaign for best song/score/composer. Publicists who do this sort of awards marketing generally are up for huge bonuses when clients win so that could be the case. If it is, I'll point the finger at that Tony guy (can't remember his last name) who used to do all of the campaigns for Fox. What an utter cunt that man was. Or now that I think of it, maybe he wanted her out of the way so he could take over her studio clients.
