#4 - This former almost A list R&B singer is now closer to C. She is struggling to stay relevant and has spent a great deal of money promoting herself. Recently she has started paying paps $300 a day to meet her at certain times of the day to get "random" shots. They are so posed and ridiculous that paps are having a tough time even giving them away to the tabloids, but keep showing up for the money she pays.

Long time lurker first time commenter.... In the world of Beyonce's and Riri's no one is checking for Ciara, sad but true. She may have the talent but these day's it about popularity. Excuse typo's and such I'm living high on Moscato ;)
Not suprised. Ciara was only good when Missy Elliott was producing her. My guess is that she'll trying to get married to a high profile athlete. She was trying to hook up with Amar'e Stoudamire for a while.

With her career in such bad shape it is a stupid idea to be throwing away money on this kind of thing. Save the $$$ Ciara, you are gonna need it.
I laughed my ass off when Ciara did a guest appearance on ANTM a couple of years ago and one of the suck-up contestants squealed that "Ciara is a LEGEND!" Ha ha ha ha.
She's hot! She can come to my house and I'll take pictures of her. I wouldn't charge her $300 either. I'd just charge her the price of two McDoubles and an egg nog milkshake. We both win.
@ Layna, Alot people seems to think that Ciara's problems began when she dismissed long time producer Jazzy Pha. We'll now that she's under La Reid.

Good point, AliB. For someone like her, who doesn't have any other business ventures, she really needs to stay on good terms with her producers.
