#2 - One person made an observation about how skinny the models are at Fashion Week and said something like, "If I wanted to look like that I could never eat." A Twilight actress who was there said, "I only eat once or twice a week, and my last boyfriend said I should lose even more weight."
#3 - This B+/A list movie actress kept people waiting at an event for her for almost 30 minutes. Why? She was busy yelling at her assistant for not bringing the right shoes and made her assistant go back and get them. Oh, the best part? The audience would only be able to see her feet for the 10 seconds it took for her to get to her seat.

For no reason whatsoever Hubby has always hated Julia. He says I just know her feet smell and so does her breath. He also knew Jesse James was a dick before I did so maybe he's onto something.

Del Riser, you will be happy to know that Lyle Lovett is quite possibly the most charming and charismatic person I have ever met. He is amazing. He married down when he was with Julia, contrary to popular opinion at the time.
I can't remember if anything has ever been said about Julia Roberts on this blog that was good. She really is a nasty piece of work.

My father has always LOATHED Julia Roberts..can't stand her horse face or laugh..of course he also hates stupid boat names and any Youtube video that does not feature a talking dog. I can't believe that I'm defending Julia Roberts and I'm not condoning yelling at an employee...BUT, we don't know how wrong the wrong shoes were. They could have been wildly inappropriate. Now if they were merely the wrong black pumps--that's a different story.

Julia's always been a nasty piece of work, remember her "A Low Vera" t-shirt? (Her now-husband's ex-wife was named Vera). I really don't know why someone who seems to have such a charmed life is so mean and bitter.
There's no way Ashley Greene only eats twice a week. She is skinny but she's not emaciated. This sounds more like something Kate Bosworth would be saying.

I have never liked Julia Roberts, never. I never saw what the rest of the planet saw in her or why she was so wildly popular. I must admit though, I do channel her when I go into a room of strangers and it certainly calms my nerves just like that.

Julia wore a fat suit for some movie and commented that is she had to wake up that way, she'd kill herself or something just as nice. I've hated her since. But enough about me, what about Julia (in reference to the oscars where she even made Denzel's oscar win about her). HATE.

Agree with strawberrry girl in comments above. I've never heard a nice thing about Julia Roberts. Someone who had a good encounter with her. Is there anyone out there who has ever had contact with Julia Roberts and found that she was pleasant? There were all those photos of her yelling at her husband in public. Obviously dressing him down while he stood there and took it. Plus, I have a feeling she is the celeb in the blinds with the special needs child who is neglected by the mom. Her youngest. I searched his name when people guessed him and the images were of her sternly walking away from a child after handing the little boy off to a nanny while Danny stood and held the little boy's foot in an uncertain kind of way. And there was a lot of gossip that she and Brad Pitt didn't get along during a movie. Hard to believe that was Pitt's issue because he seems pretty laid back. I also read that Hugh Grant despised working with her on their movie.
Ms Cool, it was that terrible, awful, no-good very bad movie she did with Catherine Zeta-Jones (another one of my least faves ever) and John Cusack. What a steaming pile of shit that was.

Unfortunately, it is very possible to eat only once or twice a week. It is, sadly, my typical pattern.
Starting at age 12, I became what could have been classified as bulimic, only my "purges" were simply long fasts, and my "binges" were a meal every few days that was maybe 1 1/3 to 1 1/2 times the size of a regular meal. Atypical bulimia is what my nutritionist called it 15 years later, but it has fucked up my body for life, and that's what these young ladies don't realize when they starve themselves. Their metabolisms will NEVER return to normal.
If you were looking at me and I told you I had an eating disorder, you would assume that it was compulsive overeating, for I am overweight. I've always been "thick," but very muscular, toned, and strong. After developing a metabolic condition several years ago, I added 70 pounds to my frame that I can't seem to lose. I still fast for days on end, but it just doesn't work. And this is what makes it all so sad to me--if I had known at age 12, or even age 22 or age 32, the permanent damage that my supposed "sacrifice" was doing to my body, maybe I could have gotten help. I can only hope that girls and women like this find someone who will be supportive of them, rather than forcing them to conform to someone else's ideal just so they can get/keep a job.
@ timebob: Thank you for giving me a big, hearty laugh that almost made green tea shoot out my nose with the following comment: "Julia, eat a bag of dicks, so can your niece." AWESOME. I have NEVER understood this woman's appeal -- she has a mouth of teeth straight out of a horror movie, she laughs like a donkey, and she has a well-earned reputation for being beyond bitchy and overbearing.
That's so sad about Ashley Greene. Just googled her photos and found a couple of her with Joe Jonas at a birthday party in Vegas. She looks sickeningly skinny! I somehow never noticed before. So sad.

I've not heard anything nice about Roberts, either. Her laugh might have been cute in 'Pretty Woman', but after hearing it again and again, it absolutely grates on my nerves.
I remember that Spielberg was fed up with her crap when she worked on 'Hook'. She was good in 'Erin Brokovich', but aside from that and a couple of her early films ('Mystic Pizza'), I generally avoid any movie she's in these days.
Seems like Julia Roberts has lived her life just to get to the point where she thinks it's justified to act like this.
I should write Enty, i have so many stories about celebs because of my years in retail management in NYC. Julia Roberts is the meanest bitch. i used to work in B&N, and JR walks in, w/sunglasses & 'tude. I speak to her poor assistant who lets me know what books they want. we walk around and find them while JR stands by the register. no one notices her. i'm standing there watching the cashier ring her up. the nice cashier smiles, rings her up and as they are finishing she whisperer to JR "i really love your movies" and JR says "can I just get the fuck out of here?" and leaves. the cashier cried and I had to put her on break. this was at the B&N on w18 & 5ave
