ReplyDeleteThere was a big write up recently in The N Y Post newspaper about this ponzi schemer and all the people he has swindled. She is in good company. That said, most of the people have enough $$$ they can weather the storm. These wannabe 'socialites' are piss poor and too old to screw their way back to wealth. So sad! Not!
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling it is Dorinda also. She's one of the only ones with a serious boyfriend right now, and he is supposedly "wealthy" from a dry cleaning business. I'm no expert on this, but I don't see how he can be part of the wealthy crowd in NYC simply by owning a few cleaners.

One of her "WEALTHY BOYFRIENDS" - which means it's not Dorinda because she has been dating that one piece of grante for a while.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't seem like Sonja because her "boyfriends" are more one nighters and none of them seem to have a pot to piss in - unless it's Aviv's ex.
So... that leaves Bethenny whose "business davy" was lost once she divorced her husband who made her struggling brand into a success.
Or Ramona.
Sonja doesn't have any money to invest in anything and Bethenney wouldn't give money to a man after her horrid divorce. IMO it's either Dorinda or that new one Tinsley. She's very old money and had some kind of bad fall out with a man.

ReplyDeleteI think Tinsley Mortimer is the most likely. She seems the type to eagerly invest in something that is way too good to be true and lose it all.
ReplyDeleteShe's supposedly a descendant of Thomas Jefferson on her mother's side and she comes from money, just not Standard Oil money. She certainly wasn't a scholarship student at Lawrenceville where she met her husband.
ReplyDeletehaving a few historic ancestors or distant cousins and enough income from a family business to go to the right schools doesn't qualify one as old money tho. it won't get you into the social register, but the right marriage will. being photogenic, determined, aspirational, and having a name like mortimer, morgan, or in l.a., hilton, will buy you time in the public eye and lots of party invitations. but the same way that the masses think that donald trump is the quintessential new york/palm beach billionaire, the public thinks that the real housewives are high society. old money society may enjoy their company, but they don't consider them one of their own.
