There have been a lot of strange couplings in Hollywood, but this one is right there at the top of the list. As so often happens in Hollywood, these two met on the set of a movie. A very big movie. Although our actress was still a relative newbie to acting she had made her mark in a couple of great films, including two of my all-time favorites which is why I still have a crush on her even after hearing about this story. Even though she was a newbie, she probably had B list name recognition because of her name. Our actor was way older than her. Over twice her age. Married. A+ lister then and now. From the day he walked on the set, our actress was into him. He fed her the same line he fed every woman on every set he has ever been on. His marriage was in trouble and his wife didn't understand him. I think she understood him just fine and was not exactly silent when it came to her own affairs. She also likes the younger guys too. Our actress had never been hit on or given the full press this A+ actor was giving her. He was sending flowers and gifts and would not stop calling her and visiting her trailer. That was where they had sex the first time. Over the next 100 times they had sex, the only time it was ever in a bed was when they were in a trailer on set. She believed him when he said he liked it sexy and in strange places, preferably in the dead of night. The truth was that he didn't want his wife or the paps to catch them so they did it in cars and outside and on the beach and in fields and everywhere else they could that was away from the public eye. When filming ended, he broke it off with her and apparently she cried for almost six months.

yuck! they were father and daughter in that movie! yeah i know it's just a movie but... in real life he had a hot wife and three kids at that time already. he was not satisfied having a family? he's just greedy!

Enjoyed the story @Unknown. When a 12 year-old girl, still technically a child, acts like a 25-year old, I'd venture to guess she survived dire events from her childhood.
This blind is backwards. She dumped him big time. He was very broken hearted about it. She was the one who didn't want it known to the public. She was embarrassed.
If true - I'm surprised her papi (and Bebe) didn't warn her about men and their tricks. She should've been briefed on alot before hitting Hollywood.

I don't necessarily buy that in every single case a kid acting older than their chronological age had something horrible happen to them. That said, her mom is a well-known groupie, and her step-Dad is a famous musician. Perhaps she was exposed to a lot of artists who talked to her as a mini adult, rather than as a kid.
I don't buy the "naive Liv" thing at all. I am sure she was dumb enough to think she could pull Bruce away from his wife and kids and was bummed when it didn't happen, but let's be real here...she was schtupping a married man.

I don't know how any actress can take any actor seriously on the set of a movie. This is not new. The actor is bored - even lead actors have to deal with hours and hours of waiting for scenes to be set up etc and etc esp on location esp on location in some not so exciting place and conquering one of his costars is one of the ways he deals with it.
If he is single you might given him a bit more benefit of the doubt but take it like a vacation romance and if he calls you after the movie is over then it was more than just an on set fling.
Yet even actresses who have seen it and should know better still fall for it and then are surprised at how it end.
@ The Real Dragon. No balls here - what I posted about Renee/Rory/Liv is common knowledge (albeit old news) to a lot of people in the industry. By no means is it exclusive. I made it clear that this was in the 90's and don't know what she's like now.
I know a lot of other stuff that I would never post or repeat because it isn't common knowledge, and/or it could hurt the celebrity in question. Or is just average stuff, but it would mean betraying someone by repeating the conversation. No need to be a jerk to someone for the sake of anonymous 'bragging' on a blog.

@V that Liv missed around with Rory while he was in a relationship with Renee. She might not e that naive at all.
I thought this relationship/hookup was pretty well-known. I remember when I was little and Armageddon had just come out, that my mom made a comment about how Liv was the reason that Bruce and Demi broke up.
I have always liked Liv, I wish she would do more movies. Off to IMDB to check dates and ages.

Bruce and Demi announced their separation literally days before the Armageddon premiere. So if he really had dumped Liv hardcore "when filming ended", it wasn't because of some reluctance to leave his wife. Because whatever happened between him and Liv, he did that anyway.

And filming would have been done MONTHS before the movie actually came out.
My memory's fuzzy but I definitely recall there was more contact between Bruce & Liv after filming. I thought there was a story that he flew several people, including Liv, up to his house in Idaho for a Super Bowl party that winter, which was months before the premiere. It puts paid this blind which says Bruce wouldn't be seen with her anywhere - he brought her to his house.
Demi either caught them or found out about it and it was the final nail in the marriage coffin, even though everyone claimed nothing wrong was going on. I think Liv publicly issued denials about it.

Well they probably broke up because Liv found out what a jerk he was after she had him free and clear. Affairs are never like the real life aspects of living with someone's faults and foibles on a full time basis.

I guess i am in the minority. I have never seen anything attractive about Bruce Willis.
Liv Tyler most have had a very bohemian lifestyle. I am sure she was savvy enough to know what she was doing, especially with a married man with children.

bullshit! she was with Joaquim Phoenix from 1995 to 1998 (she dropped him for her musician Royston Langdon with who she was married during 10 years)
I'd cope with the "heartache" for a shot at Bruce.
Then again, can we admit that maybe a self confident young woman like Liv might not have wanted a "just during filming fling"?
Liv's career sure went nowhere. She was the "it" girl for a bit with Alicia Silverstone.
Bruce Willis doesn't trip my trigger like he used to, now-even less.
This actually has the ring of truth to it because I remember these rumors about them swirling back when Armageddon came out.
