Blind Item #1
This A list movie director with A list name recognition estimates he has spent $2M over the past two decades helping out this former almost A list actor who is now a B-/C+ with almost A list recognition. The actor has had some issues that needed money to go away and the director helped. There were the gambling debts and the debts to the drug dealers and to the hookers, especially the ones our actor beat.

That is a good friend. Sure, he aint helping the guy bury hookers, but paying off pimps for damaging their whores is still a top notch friend to have.
Francis Ford Coppola/Nic Cage
Quentin Tarantino for the director and Michael Madsen for the actor
Terence Howard is the actor

I think you got it
Many good guesses, I like the Michael Madsen guess. QT really loves to cast him and rightly so. When he's 'on', MM is breathtaking in scenes.
I was thinking QT and Madsen too!
Nolan and Wes Bentley.
I back the Madsen guess.

This is an old story. MM has borrowed millions over the years from QT and Pierce Brosnan.
Except they're related. Francis is Nick's uncle on his Dad's side.
Rehab would be so much cheaper.
Agree with murphy.
Man, I used to get all hot and bothered by Mr. Blonde.
That's good friends...I'm going with Madsen too.
George Lucas and Chewbacca.
Michael madsen Is an awesome actor and there can only be one vic vega so your reasoning makes sense
Wow, what a good friend to help this asshole fuck up his life, and get away with assaulting people. Let's give this douchebag a medal! My hero.
Boom!
Thank you for this, Jason. I am playing catch-up and this made me laugh.
Not one guess of Marty & Bob?
