I would have bought a class ring.
Only after age 20.
Would love to do it all over but end up with my husband and kids
Yes, so I could choose paper.
Yes, and I'd never use a plastic bag again.
No, this life has been painful and disappointing enough.
Only if I could do it knowing what I know now.
Only if it had a better outcome. Maybe I could make a sex tape and become rich and famous.
@FSP I choose Spock!!
As long as it's Sliding Doors-style.
Yes, if for no other reason than to be able to once again spend time with my Grandma and my Mom.
I'm with Queen Bee, From age 18 on with the knowledge I have now.
Do you realize how much stuff you worried about when you were younger which was just plain stupid but you also realize there were things you should have paid attention to that you didn't.
Class ring or nipple ring? Paper or plastic? Coffee or tea? Sleep or no sleep?
Dafuq kind of question is this? LOL
Nope. When I think about how much easier things would have been if I had made better decisions, I realize that those bad decisions have led me to some wonderful experiences. I wouldn't trade that for anything.
Yes, but only if I could remember everything from my current life so I wouldn't make the same mistakes.
I would just so I could get a class ring, have sex on prom night, never drink coffee, always use plastic bags and start a band so I could plug it on this blog.
Nope. Maybe. Yes. I don't know.
Only with the knowledge I have now.
I would since I regret pretty well my entire life and if I knew then what I know now I would re-do mostly everything and wish I had the chance to have made different choices and different decisions.
I used my class ring as a nipple ring.
I think we acquire a lot of wisdom as we age, however, that wisdom comes from the mistakes we have made in our past. With that being said, I am the person today because of those decisions, so no, I would not go back and live my life differently.
Only if I could go back to 14 and know more or less what I know now.
Exactly the same? That might be interesting to see if i have remembered things right. Relive with knowledge I have now? Hell yeah!!!!!!!!
yes, I want to be a different person & rich.
Considering that dropping dead is the only alternative to not living life over again I'll opt for the re-run!
Some of it yes. Other parts no.
To avoid that bad marriage? Sure.
Yes but know the things I know now.....
Absolutely, if I could know what I know now and make some different choices. Like say yes to my husband when he asked me out when we were 12 rather than waiting till 47 to marry him! :-)
Only if I could change some aspects along the way. Live it exactly as it was? No way.
Well I would have been more trampy in highschool ;)
Okay, being serious now, no. All the twists and turns and the good and the bad, has lead me to right here. And right here is pretty darn good!
With what I know now, yes. Otherwise no, things could actually end up worse.
No because of my kids, if i lived my life all over again there is no way in hell i would hook up with their dad again.
Yes, from age 21 and forward...my life seemed so much better from that point on.
Everything Pogue Mahoney said. It'd be great if I could have different parents as well.
^sorry Pogue. Damn autocorrect. Mahone.
Hell yeah.
I would! Miss so many things I did in teens and twenties, like travelling. Sometimes I time travel back by reading old journals.
Oh God yes! With many, many do-overs. The mistakes I've made...
Oh hell no. It's almost over and I'm exhausted. No way I'd do this again.
Yes I would. I've had a crappy life and I'm only 44. Rape, molestation, physical abuse.
If I did, I would make different choices and then I wouldn't end up where I am right now. So no way.
Yes but my daughter still factors in
no
No, everyone strand of my grey hair represents a moment, I gave birth to my only child when I was 16 yrs old - my first marriage was a terrible mistake, but it forced me into therapy and I found the love of my life in my forties. I have travelled, I have met remarkable people and my grandchildren think I am amazing, so no, never. Despite the heartbreak and sorrow I learned to dance in the rain, any fool can do it when the sun is shining.
Yes. I would never have went to college, which has caused nothing but misery for me and I never graduated, and I would have had kids back in my teens or twenties. Im pushing 40 now and have given up on ever being a mother. I wish I could do everything all over. :'-(
Hell no.
Assuming you keep the knowledge you have now - Sure. I'd have started therapy at a younger age (but asked for different anti-depressants) and I'd have finished high school and gone right into college.
Still, I'm not really complaining about the life I have now.
Bigs hugs and love to those that feel like life hasn't been worth it. Love you all.
THat being said, I would go back only if I get my perky little boobies back.
oh I SO would. if there is more than one pass through this life; i'm a first timer. if I knew back then, what I know now; the world would be a different place. well maybe just my world.
@burnt crepes, never too late to be a mom. adoption, step, foster, etc. don't give up on being a mommy if its what you want :)
Pink Cashmere, don't know if you'll read this, but I am having a hard time at the moment for different reasons & your honesty reminds me that my situation is not that bad. I hope the next chapter of your life is better.
I would go back if I had my knowledge & I would find my husband sooner & not marry the first idiot. If my personality remained the same I would still mouth off & get in the shit for it, so second time around I would find a way to work from home so I minimised interaction with people I wouldn't piss on to put out if they were on fire that you are forced to spend time with at work.
If I knew what I know now, absolutely. Without that knowledge we are all doomed to repeat the same mistakes over and over again.
Thanks @Brenda L. ((Big hugs)) right back at ya!
