1 fluently 2 others some. In college.
I've been thinking about learning Braille, but it's a rather touchy subject.
I've forgotten enough French not to be able to carry a conversation, but remembered enough that I got around Paris without speaking English. Cali girl, so I know enough Spanish to: find a bathroom, order food and beer, know when someone is swearing. So just English I guess. ;)
I am ashamed to say just one. Not my strong area at all.
I can barely speak English.
So, no. I only (barely know English! (And I went to parochial school.)
I dabble in Spanish now and then BC of my son's wife.
English and Spanish fluently
Anderson Cooper wanted to try his hands at a little French, so I told him that Gerard Depardieu is only 2" flaccid.
English. I can survive with my spanish. I can get into trouble with my Portuguese.
English is my 4th language, I speak 3 fluently but can understand conversations in a number of Slavic and Romance languages. Learned out of necessity while I was a child refugee.
English fluently, I can speak Spanish and French enough to survive on, and could probably get better pretty quickly if I took the time to study them again.
English fluently, Spanish and German I can read well but speak not so much.
I took a Chinese class in college (Harvey Mudd) sophmore year just because I needed something to fill my schedule. I ended up loving it, and changed my major. I've since picked up some Japanese and Tagalog as well.
English and French fluently
English, French, Italian, Spanish & I also understand Portuguese enough to get around
English fluently, Italian in curses mostly, broken Spanish (I can ask for the bathroom or what I want to eat).
English, Russian, and Spanish - fluently; My Mandarin is conversational and my Arabic is okay. Last language studied was Arabic - 2014 -2016 in an immersion situation.
english first language, french almost fluent, 3 years of german, started studying spanish this month.
Omg ???you are a treasure
Same but only the first 3.... Portuguese is a beast/tough!
None, I barely speak broken English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and German. I can read Romanian and French.
I am still studying all of them in order to be understood by other people.
English & Spanish fluently, "passable" Italian, and I can understand Portuguese but can't speak it, LOL:)
Spanish and English, a little bit of Italian, and I can sing (pronounce) German, Russian, Swahili, Latin and French - if I really have to. Hate singing in French. Last time I tried to learn a language was last year before we went to Italy. It wasn't impressive!
LOL! My Hubby is a Harvey Mudd graduate, always good to see another one around!
English and enough French and Italian to get by (badly) if I had to.
English, Spanish, French, also Mandarin Chinese
Im trilingual.
*And I was told I have a learning disability. The other two are easier for me to spell in bcuz they are phonetic. I often spell what I hear. English is harder that way.
ISNT SHE JUST????
Always great to learn of another Wally Wart!
It really is.
My favourite to speak is Italian though, I love it. I lived in Milan for a year, such a great year.
