Robert Redford?
Or Matt Mcaunahey????
kevin kline
I was going to say MattyM
Hope it's not Robert Redford.
Jack Nicholson????
Yeah Redford perm and a Director more so...
Matty M is so young still but Michael J Fox was diagnosed at like 30 I think
I hope it's none of them.
WHEN I ASK YOU A QUESTION YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT I EXPECT U TO ANSWER IT UNDERSTAND "DEREK" BABY??? DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR DICK?
Sandy stop ruining the comment section with your nasty remarks. I am not Derek-though you seem a little obsessed with him. I am an older woman that would like to guess blinds. Weirdo.
Of course you are of course you are...
Maybe just drug after-effects, right?
wouldnt redford be 'permanent' A+ list?
shit, matthew mccoughney fits......noooooooo i hope its not him either.
i hope its No One.
Yes Redford would be permanent A list.
FYI the language you are using here perpetuates stigma.
It is has been 'diagnosed with' or ' is living with' or 'has' Parkinson's or dementia or whatever the relevant illnesses(es) is(are), not 'suffers from' or 'is suffering with'.
Not alliterate.
@VDO I agree this is the current pc-friendly phrasing, but honestly.....do you really think a person who has Parkinson's is NOT suffering? Doesn't 'living with' kind of minimize what they are enduring?
We live with people, we live with family, we suffer from horrible, debilitating illnesses.
Chris Cooper
Don’t want it to be anyone but please not Matty M
Redford would be A- list now. He just announced he was retiring from acting. I think its him.
I misinterpreted 'early stages' as 'early onset'. Agree with the Redford guess. :(
Don't do diseases unless said sufferer wants to do them. Like MS or whatever. Cruel is not fun.
Like life isn't f*cked up enough without Parkinson's and the all the other stuff people get for no reason whatsoever. Imagine shaking so badly that it's too late to wrap your toes around the trigger.
Nick Nolte.
I really don’t think that this should be a blind. Let whoever this is announce it if and when they are ready. My friend’s sister got diagnosed 2 years ago. She’s a nurse, so knows more than most how horrific it is. She has a wonderful husband & children, yet tried to take her own life. Luckily, she survived. But to reiterate the privacy point, I was asked not to mention this to anyone—neither the diagosis nor the ensuing turn of events. I haven’t in 2 years, and I won’t—it’s not my news to share.
@tricia I like the Matt guess better. Redford would hardly be 'early' onset.
@hothotheat, it says "early stages" not "early onset".
Some more alliterate Oscar winners/nominees: Alan Alda, Alan Arkin, Graham Greene, Hal Holbrook, Sylvester Stallone.
Stallone would be a good guess too.
It doesn't say early onset, just early stages. Every disease has early stages.
I think Nicholson has been ill for some time now. Parkinsons is not the worst way to go, my neighbour was active up until nearly the end.
oh man it could be Stallone
alan alda
My grandma had Parkinson's and I'm pretty sure she suffered a lot. It's true that there's a lot worse that can happen to you, though. A neurologist once told me that if given the choice between Parkinson's, dementia and the disease Stephen Hawking suffered from (don't know how you call it in English and don't want to look it up as the mere thought of it terrifies me), he'd choose Parkinson's.
Alan Alda already announced he's got Parkinson's.
Jack Nicholson is NOT an alliterate name.
Jesus, I wish some of you would learn to read. The other day there was a blind about "a poor man's BTS" and someone literally posted "BTS?" What the fuck.
I was gonna say Stallone
Stallone is a good guess, there've been some studies that suggest that boxing can lead to damage related Parkinsons. Think Ali. I wonder how much he got knocked around doing the Rocky films.
Matt McM is ALL movie. So is Stallone. So is Kevin Kline. So is Daniel Day-Lewis (although he did say he was retiring).
Is Nick Nolte still A list? If so, then it could be him.
Alan Alda came out a few weeks ago to say he has Parkinson's which also prompted film critic Leonard Maltin to also reveal on Twitter that he too has been diagnosed with Parkinson's.
As I am incredibly involved with the dementia community & Parkinson's can cause dementia, I am going to decline guessing who this might be. To me it is up to the individual to reveal whether he or she has a disease diagnosis. I also never assume that someone is 'suffering' with a disease. Let an individual tell you whether he or she is 'suffering'. To use that language scares people from getting a good diagnosis as early as possible & the longer the delay, the fewer medical treatment options may be available as well as the fewer your options are for doing things like incapacity & estate planning.
BTW Ali probably also had CTE or chronic traumatic encephalopathy which is the form of dementia that comes from blows to the head (it has been diagnosed in athletes, military veterans, & some domestic violence victims. The Concussion Legacy Foundation studies CTE & works with a brain bank to solicit donations of human brains post death to see if an individual definitely had CTE as well as comparing brains with CTE to brains without CTE.
I hope it’s not Matt Mc, I like him. I feel really sorry for whoever it is though.
I have a cousin with Parkinson’s. She is only in her early 50s with twin 8 year old daughters. It affects her gait at this point. Really sad situation for everyone afflicted with this disease. I wish whoever this is well.
@ Large Marge - Check out IMDB. MM has True Detective and another television show or two under his belt.
It wasn’t my comment but i still don’t understand what it means.
If it is Redford I'll be sad for a while :(
Whoever it is, I feel bad for them.
👍
It's Alan Alda ...and it's not a blind.
it was headline news, a couple of months ago.
You need some new sources Enty
I know Enty's rankings are always wonky, but how could you describe Robert Redford as anything other than "permanent A+?"
Alan Alda is not "mostly movie". This is not about him.
