Most? I don't think I've seen anything more than twice in the theater.
Oh, except Rocky Horror Picture Show. Seen that probably a dozen times.
Star wars trilogy obvs.
I never saw any movie in a theatre more than once.
Star Wars trilogy and Rocky Horror (ahh high school).
i havent been to a movie theatre since 2013
Gone with the Wind. I have taken my elderly mother to see that movie countless times. I can probably recite most of the lines verbatim.
same, I used to go to Rocky Horror yearly.
I did see Rogue One several times in theater too
Most recently? It.
The most times, The Lost Boys.
Does it count if you ran movie theatres? If so, ID4. From July 2 through Thanksgiving, every day, multiple times.
LOTR:Return of the King...........about 5 times. Which means I spent nearly 1000 minutes watching the same movie.
Lethal Weapon 1. Mel was still hot and not crazy. Saw it 11 times..
The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Pink Flamingos, at the Fox Hermosa and Venice, and Cinerama Dome weekend midnight showings. Tons of fun!
Titanic 3 times and Good Will Hunting 2. It was a small local theater and they only showed 1 movie and it was only $2 to get in back in the 90s before it closed.
Titanic.
Took almost every woman I dated to it the year it was in theaters. I didn't like it the first time I watched it, and none of the subsequent five times.
Avengers 6 times. Saw it twice in one day the second Saturday it was out.
Fight Club. It's the only movie I've seen in the theater more than once, and I saw it 4 times in 3 days.
In 1981 or 1982, brought took our elder son to see Raiders of the Lost Ark more times than I can count.
Pink Floyd the Wall. It was a Midnight Movie tradition with us for some time.
Other than that I've never been a repeated spender of movies. I remember my friends seeing Grease like dozens of times and I'm like, what a waste.
Rocky horror..we go every October.
Monty Python and The Holy Grail, Life of Brian and Star Wars Episode IV. You have to watch the Python movies at least twice to appreciate all of the nuances.
Like others here Rocky Horror several times.
I did see There's Something About Mary 3 times in the theatre. I took my dad, my brother and my boyfriend mainly to see their reaction to that one scene. It was totally worth it!
Infinity War and Return of the King.
A Star is Born with Barbara S my oldest brother took me to see it with his girlfriend.
Then another received a copy of the movie, we watch it on rainy weekends.. all 7 of us
It was a good movie and the soundtrack was awesome
Star Wars.
RHPS and Mulholland Drive. Uhhhh, so hot.
1000 minutes well spent!
Transformers...the 1st Michael Bay...saw it 12 times in the theater. My son (and i) LOVED it ;-)
Purple Rain and Dirty Dancing, in high school.
I hate movie theaters so any movie has only been seen once.
Baby Face, I saw Transformers quite a few times, probably close to the amount you did. However, I don't have the excuse of a child wanting to see it, I did because I'm a huge Transformers fan and collector since 1984 lol.
Oh and Bumblebee is a great reboot to the series with much better bot designs that allows you to actually be able to tell them apart during fights. It can be seen as a reboot but it also ties into the 2007 movie if they want to continue that (abhorrent) timeline.
The Goodbye Girl
Spent all my money
Love, Actually. Saw it 5 times in the theater. Love that movie.
I've never seen a movie more than once in a theatre. Too expensive. And the last film I saw there was The Lost World. In 1997.
Since then I just wait. Because it's cheaper. There's been nothing that I've had to see right away in a long time. My favorite movies are all really old anyway and I don't seek out vintage screenings. Plus you can't even find a real single screen theatre anymore. Multiplex screens are sub-par. I've only been to a couple and the screen was just so small.
Alien twice. About a Boy twice.
TLOTR Bohemian Rapsody
Maybe gone with friends to see a movie I'd already seen but they hadn't, but not intentionally.
I've seen Rocky Horror a few times, but otherwise I do not pay twice to see any movie.
Jurassic Park, Titanic and The X-Files movie, 3 times for each.
CRAZY RICH ASIANS! I thought it was so beautiful visually, and it's the only movie I've seen twice in a theater.
The original Star Wars, my friends and I saw it over 20 times in the theater the first year it was out. My only explanation is that we were 13 and obsessed.
When I was in 7th and 8th grade my friends mom took us to RHPS every Friday night. The mom was a divorcee, so called, which was unheard of in my neighborhood. I couldn't believe my parents let me go as they knew the story line. I know every word and not only the script but all the add in shit that happened where I saw the movie. We were in New Orleans and there was a whole CAST that played the parts while the move was playing. Everyone threw melba toast! I know I saw it more than 20 times. Only They Live and Soylent Green have come close relative to views, but I didn't see those movies in the theatre. That's way different.
Spinal Tap - 3 or 4 times in the early 80's.
original star wars, since i was a kid i got in for $1.50 and after the movie ended I would either duck down in the balcony or hide behind the drapes until the next show started. so i watched it 3 or four times every saturday and sunday for months
The Big Lebowski, didn't even know it'd be so popular but ended up seeing it like 3x in 1998 or whenever that was.
