A 3 quart casserole usually works for me, oh wait...
Tuna casserole with fresh mushrooms and either scalloped or au gratin potatoes. Like baked ziti too if you consider that a casserole.
Macaroni & Cheddar Cheese, with green chiles.
Casseroles are generally disgusting.
my tuna casserole. except i don't eat tuna anymore. so ... hmmmm.
casseroles are gross.
My healthy version of tuna casserole
The greenbean/fried onion rings/mushroom soup casserole that is a Thanksgiving classic.
@Do Tell - forgot about that one. +1
It's actually called Hot Dish, and the only one I'll eat is a bacon and hashbrowny egg bake.
Tuna, green bean casserole and sweet potato with a praline crust.
Tuna casserole, the way my mom made it. ☺️
Tater tot casserole is the only proper answer!
tortilla casserole.
flour tortillas, shredded chicken, guac, beans and corn, pico or salsa, cheese.
layer and bake.
can be made with any meat, cheese, tomato.
endless variations an seasoning options.
yum!
Also, I thought I’d be the only one with tuna casserole as my answer. Wowza!!! Who woulda thunk it? Tuna casserole, FTW!
Sandy, ziti is definitely a casserole and one of my favs. Making a big mac and cheese as I post. Trying fried chicken in my air fryer oven I got for Christmas. I have some greens I cooked back in the fall. Yummy soul food for a blustery day. The temperature is dropping and we may get some frozen stuff this weekend. The DH rode into work this am so he’ll be ready for it tonight.
Coq au vin
or Beef stew and dumplings.
Turkey tetrazzini is probably the only casserole I still make.
Unknown you forgot the hubris and a generous splash of ad hominem attacks.
Tuna casserole with sour cream and onion Utz crinkled chips as the crust!
What time should I come over? 😋
They still make Zima?
Hashbrown casserole
King's ranch chicken casserole.
My turkey casserole. I used to use cream of mushroom soup. I now use cream of bacon soup. Proof that God exists.
Recipe?
The state Casserole of Indiana: Green bean casearole.
Amish Breakfast casserole. I only make it for Christmas morning.
Casserole with sweet potatoes, fresh pears, candied walnuts.
Layered casserole of homemade stuffing; vegetables like sauteed mushrooms, onions, carrots, cauliflower and broccoli; light cream sauce between layers, cheddar cheese on top.
Sweet potato casserole or my community Mac n Cheese, it’s very cheesy
+1 Dena.
Hot dish it is! Tater tot hot dish isn't bad. Actually, when it's -30 degrees with a howling wind outside and you've got farm chores to do, I promise you, any hot dish is fantastic.
King Ranch Chicken casserole is one of my favorite main dish casseroles. I really get excited over sides though. A perfectly made cauliflower and broccoli casserole. Prepared with canned soup and velveeta, then topped with crushed ritz crackers toasted in butter is hard to beat. I am also quite fond of sweet potato casserole. Probably healthier but calorie laden. For you folks that say casseroles are gross, I will pray for you 😂
My family makes a baked macaroni which is a casserole; you layer marinara with ziti, diced mozzarella, diced pepperoni and diced hard boiled egg and bake it until everything is warm and melted and there you have my death row dinner. It’s my life’s passion.
My mom's breakfast casserole...puff pastry filled with scrambled eggs, cheese, bacon, onions, and shredded potatoes. Sooooooo good!
I still love a good green-bean casserole as previously described.
I think casseroles are disgusting, as are those hot pots or whatever they’re called that everyone has been buying (they’re about $150 plus you need to take a class on how to use them.)
Although @: A., your mom’s b’fast casserole sounds appealing & I would give that a shot.
Funeral potatoes
Baked ziti.
It's the best.
I'm a pastry chef and trained culinarian; love casseroles, damnit
To all those whining that casseroles are gross: You've clearly never had a good one, and I feel sorry for you, but stop being ridiculous.
+1 king ranch chicken casserole
Cottage Pie
Hot Dish is the proper name.
Tuna, with canned cream of mushroom soup, peas, and potato chips on top.
Tuna with crumbled ruffles potato chips.
Tuna with Old Dutch Ripple Chips!
I find casseroles somewhat of a slopfest, and any recipe that has cream of anything soup in it is an immediate turn off.
@:| raven |: Don't eat tuna any more? Not to worry, replace the tuna with dolphin - works just as well in a casserole recipe.
Unknown wins.
Tater tot casserole or some kind of breakfast concoction.
Good old chicken noodle casserole - the trick is not overcooking anything before you put it in the oven. AND I abhor the Can of Cream of Whatever (except in Cracker Barrel's Hashbrown Casserole - don't @ me...) so the chicken noodle casserole has a homemade roux and cheese that once it's all combined and baked together, sets up beautifully. Throw in frozen peas for a pop of color, some sauteed red bell pepper and onion, and top with buttered Ritz - bake 15 minutes and voila! Keep your fork outta my plate!
Ohh that sounds really good!!
Unfortunately yes...
Chicken cordon blue casserole
