Michael Cera
I want this to be Matthew Broderick. I love Ferris Bueller.
I don't know why I am feeling John C. Reilly for this
Biggs?
Or
Buschemi
buschemi my guess too
Although not sure what Enty means by
"As a teen in a great comedy to what he does now"?
Is this a sentence: "As a teen in a great comedy to what he does now" ?
It means Cera never hit puberty.
Or Vince Vaughn
I like happy endings
Judge Reinhold is filming something, and according to his IMDB he has had a fuck ton of work done on his face!
Ray Liotta? Someone like that.
So, it's someone who, as a teen, was in a "great comedy". Great comedy play, TV show, film?
This is like a very, very bad party game.
Andrew McCarthy
John Cusack
Whoever did this is a saint to me. I worked a really stressful job from 7am-3pm M-Fs and went to school all night as an undergrad. It breaks my heart hearing my students who are busting their asses with work while still getting straight As. One of my favorites just came into my office crying and admitted that she's been living in her car. Seriously, bless this dude.
They acted when they were teenagers?
It's really not that hard: From when he was a teen in a great party right on through the present, he's been playing essentially the same sort of role.
How is that too baffling to comprehend?
Now that's a good use of money…
he means that he started off/first hit it big as a teenager when he starred in a great (i take that to mean highly thought of) comedy (movie, tv, etc)
to
what he does now (may or may not be the same style of work)
just my impression.
Ferris buehler. Was a teen in a great comedy and he played ferris in a car commercial last year.. People always only know him as ferris even though War Games was the shit!!!
Yeah Matthew pay it forward. .
I can totally see Cera doing this. Anybody read the story of him continuing a friendship with a wrong txt/number? That was so un-Hollywood and... Human... That I can see him doing this
Ralph Macchio
Grammar, Sheen. Why is it too difficult for Enty to employ? Type like a grown up, FFS.
The only one that seems to make sense to me is Michael Cera. He plays the same character, was on Arrested Development (comedy), and more recent lead role hit for Superbad. Others guesses just don't add up.
Heartbreaking. It infuriates me that the US doesn't do more to help students.
This seems like Michael Cera, from what I heard he's a super nice, down to earth person and goes out of his way to help people . It's funny that some people confuse him with Jesse Eisenberg since they were in the same kind of movies and everyone says Jesse is a super creep who thinks he's smarter than everyone else and comes off as very arrogant
The answer to this question is who would show up on Portlandia. Cera.
Yup! This kind of thing is so common. Oh...and Fuck student loans. Germany just abolished tuition fees by the way.
Sounds like someone is banging a college student.
That was my first guess, too.
Shia?
Shia has been playing a douche in every movie but I don't think he has the wherewithal to do this.. I think he has other priorities. .
What is throwing me off is the use of the word "show" what film actor works on "a show" though it says this actor does different projects so is that TV show, is it a TV show that changes location, or could it be some documentary series or some other kind of show like maybe Discovery or something? Is there a film actor who meets the rest of the description but also works on that kind of show.
Now I realized I was thinking of the dude from Lost, Dominic, he has some show about dangerous critters but then he wouldn't fit the rest of it right?
Just to be different, Jason Bateman
Bill Paxton. Was a teen in Weird Science.
Michael C. Hall
@alice...I loved your guess...and I love Bill Paxton., but he's filming a mini series in Texas...
This is awesome!
Christopher Mintz-Plasse. McLovin' from Superbad. Has also been in Role Models, Kick Ass, and Neighbors.
Fast Times at Ridgemont High or thst era sprang to mind. A character type actor like nerd, anxious, etc but who once had a lead in a big film. Otherwise supporting and B- but works steadily. Judd Rheinhold is a great guess or someone like him. Think ensemble casts.
Seth Green!
Tom Everett Scott? Filming Z Nation in Portland..Idk I'm not very good at this lol
"Good Will" in the clue..Will smith? Might be filming around PA (lots of colleges) and started off young on Fresh Prince. Doesn't seem likely, since he has kinda become douchey and his kids are obnoxious brats, but if it is him I'll try to forgive and forget. Student loans suck balls, and even w/ working during undergrad and grad, I'll be drowning in them 'til the end of time
FFS, never mind. Missed the Northwest part. Guess my edumacation was a waste of time and $ since I can't read.
"Teen in a great comedy" made me think immediately of "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". Dena may have nailed it!
+1 million, Lady H!!!
Seth Rogen was in Freaks and Geeks as a teen... and it was kinda a comedy. Kinda.
He's certainly been the lead in big box office releases while looking more like a character actor, anyway. And he seems like a really cool guy.
i thought vince vaughan immediately.
Whoever did this is beyond cool.
Late back to blind:
John cusak/say anything the iconic teen film
Filming "Rush*"documentary/aka "show perhaps" in undisclosed locations
I'm terrible at blinds, and this read Michael Cera to me.
I'm thinking Cera also.
That's a great thing to do. I hope the student pays it forward with their own kindness to someone else.
I'm guessing Bill Paxton. That was my first guess.
Jason Bateman
Tim Matheson. Animal House as the teen movie (ok- maybe a stretch) & graduated to playing douches.
How long ago did this occur cuz Michael Cera's been on Broadway in "This Is Our Youth" & was rehearsing since August.
My immediate thought was Napolean Dynamite's Jon Heder, but I don't think he's got that kinda $$ &now in Fla filming"Walt before Mickey"

Dena,
Judd Reinhold WOWZA!
I think he's entered Kenny Rogers territory.
I loved him in Daddy's Dying, Whose Got the Will. It was so corny it was funny.
It looks like Judge goes to the same surgeon as Mickey Rourke.
^^Judge Reinhold not Judd in link.
How has no one guessed James Spader yet?
Not Cusack or Reilly - both are enormous douches. Possibly Cera, although I like the James Spader guess.
