Oprah Gets Sued For Wrongful Termination
Oprah was sued last Friday by a flight attendant who says she was fired because of gossip. Basically Oprah was told by an employee who happens to be her goddaughter that Corrine Gehrls had sex on Oprah's plane with the pilot while Oprah and her guests were knocked out on sleeping pills in another part of the plane.
Despite passing a polygraph test both the flight attendant and pilot were fired. That is pretty crappy of Oprah. Oprah hears some gossip and believes it. She investigates and finds out it wasn't true and fires them anyway. The former flight attendant is only suing for $75K, so to me it seems like she is doing it more because she knows she was right than for any attention pr publicity. I can't imagine Oprah letting this go very far. $75K is nothing to her. She probably spent more than that on the flight where the sex didn't happen.

Oprah doesn't seem very nice. I don't care what she does for charity - I think it is all about her ego.
The pilot had previously complained about his flight schedule and Oprah has been known to retaliate against anyone who disagrees with her.
The goddaughter is Gayle King's daughter who is probably just sucking up to her meal ticket.
What does the goddaughter do? Wondering if she had it in for the flight attendant, or the pilot.

From the story here, the only investigating done was a polygraph - that proves that it was gossip? I think if my pilot and crew were having sex instead of working, I'd fire them too, especially the pilot!
Oprah is a complete fucking cunt... she's all about looking good but in actuality is an utter twat. How do I know? I look at her body language and I know 4 people who have been guests on her show. The woman was a total bitch to all four of them. As soon as those cameras stop rolling it's like Mr Hyde.
WBotW, I heard the same thing about her. When the camera is off, she is like the ice queen to her guests.
Remembering how Enty described the way she treated the student involved in the South African school sex scandal left a permanent bad mark in my book for the "O".

polygraph test isn't always accurate and there is always more to the story than what is being released....
If they were accurate they would be admissible in court.
Oprah isn't stupid....she has a lawyers to help her make the decisions.

I've been a guest on her show. Sure, she's 'all business' during commercials. She's focused and she tapes TWO shows a day. There is also alot going on during commercials, production wise. Yes, she has a huge ego & I don't care much for her philosophical bullshit, but to call her an IceQueen because she isn't interested in being everyone's new bestie is ridiculous.

As someone who has gotten in trouble at work based on gossip, I think it's great that the flight attendant is suing. Gossip shouldn't be a reason to fire someone. Job performance should be a reason.

I was so happy that Chicago lost their Olympic bid, because Oprah and her friends including Barrack & Michelle would've gained a lot more financially from it, from Taxpayers of Chicago and the rest of Illinois.
She was sueing her because they had sex while the plane was being refueled (they both admitted this), just not while it was actually in the air. The pilot recognized that he showed bad judgement, sucked it up, took responsibility for himself and moved on. The whiney flight attendant decided to play the victim and try to get some money and some sympathy by pretending she was a victim of somthing other than her own bad judgement. You would think she would try to keep this bad decision as private as possible. Who in their right mind would hire this silly twit after this fiasco.
