I read that Carrie made fun of Taylor in their opening bit, but I don't know what was said. Can anyone clue me in? Also, is Hayden's character on Nashville based on Carrie?
@ABlake, I've always gotten the impression that Brad Paisley is a genuinely nice guy. I've never heard a single negative story about him.
Well...he did name his sons Huck and Jasper. But other than that!
The joke about Taylor was about the Kennedy's trading Arnold for Taylor and then a shtick about her and Conner not getting back together..ever...ever...like never. Not too terribly funny

He and Kimberly Williams are by far my favorite current Nashville couple, so I'm glad that he upholds his reputation on and off stage. He's aces in my book when he's on stage, that's for sure.
It's time to chill with the Gangnam Style surprise dances unless you know for sure you're bringing something really fresh and funny. Otherwise, thanks, but it's been done.
Jeneral- I read somewhere that Hayden's character may be based on Carrie, but I not sure if its just gossip or speculation. I don't know much about Carrie anyway except that people say she is a bitch.

Yeah, Carrie was beyond awful in "Soul Surfer". Sweet movie though.
It was the 46th Annual CMA's, I think, but it feels like the 46th Country Music Award ceremony televised this year alone. There's one of these like every month!

The first time I saw Carrie in concert was during her tour for her 2nd album. She still seemed sweet and appreciative of her American Idol background. The 2nd time, there was something I couldn't put my finger on. She wasn't out and out arrogant or anything, but after that I just didn't care for her. She over sings anyway and that is aggravating. I haven't watched this video yet, but I am sure she is too stiff to even try to do the dance or do anything that would make her look foolish.
Ok. I watched the video. I am shocked that she actually attempted it. She is usually pretty stiff.
