It didn't take long for there to be friction on the set of this latest installment of a long running franchise. Our A list married foreign born actor is married but he told producers he wanted the other male lead fired because the female lead was getting too close to him and our A list actor likes to have the leads for himself.

I wonder how often that happens. I'm sure A listers can get lesser knowns fired, but could they get a fellow A-lister fired? I mean, without a good reason?
Craig just may have some clause in his contract because he"carries the film" to a degree/ is Bond. But I do not think it's common at all unless dealing with maaaajor playersz(clooney/Pitt)
I know that many actors are insecure, but this veers into asshole territory.
@pretzel, -Rest assured,this could not have possibly have happened regardless of Craig's Contract..but I DO believe that Daniel Craig IS threatened(&rightfully so i might add) by Christophe Waltz but mostly by Ralph Fiennes---b/c he KNOWS The Real Deal when he sees it - & those guys ARE THE REAL DEAL- (i'm not saying that Daniel Craig isn't just as good,--he can hold his own--I saw him w/his wife(?) & it worked--not the best,not the worst... haven't really seen them together a lot SINCE..eh?
*** I meant that I saw them together in a Play on Broadway ACTING--- I might've been misunderstood before by my previous inaccurate statement--- sorry, i'm still TERRIBLE at this computer thing...STILL--- yes I know it's the Year 2015
