Same here-i just heard Will Smith shot dead in New Orleans..this is actually a really terrible situation.This was NOT road rage.Will Smith & his wife were coming back from dinner w/a good friend who happens to be a cop-a cop who shot dead THIS suspect's dad back in 2005-a lawsuit is just finally commencing re: wrongful shooting -but this had to be pre-meditated. Allegedly,Suspect(Bear) banged into Smith's car, ...wife was shot twice in the legs too.This suspect had a small part in 22 Jump Street.(story is in DM).

WRT to the Will Smith shooting the shooter had sued the City of New Orleans in 2005 over the shooting death of his father by several cops. The suit was settled and apparently the guy got some money. One of the cops who shot his father was friends with Will Smith and had dinner with him the night the guy shot Will Smith. But this cop was NOT in the car when the guy rear-ended Will Smith and shot him dead.
What a bizarre story. Unless this is an amazing coincidence there must be something more to it than just road rage. And considering that the shooter rear-ended Smith ... you wonder if he did it on purpose. But why? The cop he maybe hated, who killed his father 10 years ago ... wasn't even in the car. Maybe he was stalking the cop... saw him having dinner with Smith, recognized Smith and decided to follow him because he was jealous of this guy with his Super Bowl ring and his fame... and just switched his focus to Smith. who knows. Wonder if we'll ever find out. In any event Smith will still be dead and his wife and three children will be without their husband and father. RIP
