Blind Item #12 - Academy Awards
This B- list mostly movie actress with A+ list name recognition deserves an apology from me. I had no idea she could act as well as she did last night. Almost immediately after arriving on the red carpet her husband informed her the night was about him and to follow his lead and then gave big smirks to the guys with him while he nodded his head. For about three seconds her face had this defeated look and her mouth was going to open to say something, but she shook her head and put on a smile. You could watch her put that smile on and walk to the first stop on the carpet for photos. It was embarrassing and humiliating but for that brief pause she acted like nothing happened. If one had not seen it happen, you would never know it did. So, acting has improved a bunch for her.

Jessica Biel looked beautiful last night. Her dress was one-of-a-kind gorgeous. I cannot imagine what it must be like to be married to a hick from Kentucky with a talent for singing and a real talent for self-promotion. The rumors have been around for years about her liaisons with women. Her career was a joke. She cannot act to save her life. However, she does have her own business and is probably able to stand on her own. Why she doesn't just walk away from this painful 'marriage' is beyond me. Perhaps some day she will grow a pair and realize she doesn't need his fame to survive in Hollywood.

I feel bad for her. He really is such a tool. Whenever people start talking about how talented he is, I always remember that he got started in beauty pageants as a child. That always gives me a laugh.

Agree with most of it except for the "gave up her career" part. She is a horrible actress and not nearly as hot as she would need to be to overcome that. She wasn't getting a whole lot of work before the marriage and it hasn't improved since.
I actually saw this interaction when they first arrived- at one point he raised his hand like he was going to smack her!

JT for sure. If it was a real relationship I would feel so sorry for her- when it is about humiliation you can't fix this. But this is a business mutual beard relationship and sometimes bosses are jerks and you suck it up

Justin Timberlake and Jessica 'bearding' Biel.. the incident aired on ABC's red carpet coverage. In what looked like a heated conversation, JT points to himself then points directly at JB's dress multiple times... the PR people around them just nodded, obeying his orders, including Biel.
That was the start of it... then clearly above played out on the red carpet. Poor Biel.
