Julianne Hough Has Lots Of Friends Who Buy Her Things

Helio Castroneves got placed into the friend column by dancing partner Julianne Hough, but it still was enough to end his relationship with Aliette Vazquez. The relationship between Helio and Aliette actually ended almost immediately after Helio began rehearsing with his Dancing With The Stars partner. Helio had a huge crush on Julianne almost from the outset, and thinking it was going to be something real, told Aliette they should wait awhile to get married.

Aliette, not being stupid, deduced the real reasons and called off the marriage. However, out of respect, she volunteered to pretend that everything was normal until after the conclusion of the show because she didn't want Helio's chances of winning affected by him being a love sick jerk thinking he was going to score with a 19 year old.

Rumors are swirling that Helio lavished the young dancer with gift after gift, but he could just never get out of the friends column with her, and so far that is where he remains. Julianne has lots of friends. Kevin Connolly of Entourage also is in the friends column. He and Julianne are such good friends that he bought her a several thousand dollar 18K engagement ring last week which she wore on the last show.

Who knew that being friends with so many guys could be so profitable and lead to broken relationships. If the guys knew any better they would know that she will end up with a guy who doesn't buy her a damn thing, and in fact makes her pay for everything when they go out. He may or may not have a job, and will cheat on her often. Don't buy a woman any gifts before she is your girlfriend thinking that gifts will make her your girlfriend.

You know for as bitchy as I am, I'm still not bitchy enough to take advantage of people and use my looks to get what I want. I just dont understand how people can live with themselves, doing that.

So is that a 2nd ring from Nicky Hilton's ex? or the same ring already mentioned?

And again, what is the appeal? Yeah she's cute, but is she really all that?

How old are these guys? She's a kid. (shaking my head in disgust)

You know, for some guys, it's not necessarily looks. It's what we call in French, a certain "Je ne sais quoi"... It's a 'vibe'...

And I'm not trying to defend this girl's actions here, but sometimes, a girl can be lavished with unwanted attention/gifts, without even asking for it. It's that 'je ne sais quoi' that takes over, and makes the boys week in the knees. But, I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and place this youngin' in the 'innocent' player category. ;)
You know the type. The ones who always pass themselves off as the friend, but can manipulate their way into very profitable situations. Kind of like the 'stripper' mentality...

Wtf, she's "Blonde" (eww she has roots, since when did this become acceptable? Almost all stars have "roots" now, as if its some how chic to be lazy enough not to cover up the fact that you're a fake) and 19, thats ALL it takes. Period. Well the killer bod helps too, but that'll get you anything you want even if you're as ugly as sin.

TOTALLY with Jewels here - there's a chance she didn't say shit to any of these guys, and they just up & offered gifts. It happens.

Besides, I'm not sure why SHE would be vilified when it's HELIO who became all smitten kitten & shanked the fiance.

Like, wtf?

If any of you girls would like to get together I PROMISE no gifts. Just dancing. And umm stuff.

I LIKE Julianne! I think she's cute, a great dancer, has a great body, and seems to have a good personality. I can see why Helio would be hot for her.

If Helio was willing to dump his 6-yr relationship for greener pastures, then it's best that his fiance found out BEFORE the wedding.

I'm with you lyz, I like Julianne. She's a great performer and a great choreographer- she plays to the strengths of whoever she's training, and that is pretty impressive for a teenager. I don't see why she's getting the slut tag here.

I'm starting to get the distinct impression that Helio's a sleaze, however.

I LOVE Julianne so I won't throw her under the bus. I also think she's very beautiful, has a bod I would KILL for, and is ultra talented.

Also, the article I read stated Kevin C. sent that ring to her without any provocation on her part.

Also Also, being unable to find anything on the reason Helio's engagement ended, if it did end, I think this blind item may well be the result of an overactive imagination on the part of the person who wrote it. I'm not sure if it was EL or not, since he gets a lot of his blinds from other sites, but I'm not going to be so quick to believe all of this.

Trix, young women are DYING their roots dark now. Yeah, it's in. Gross!

she's my new fave

T Sister - this was reported on the E channel and they said the Helio confirmed the breakup...so you just know that it HAS to be true! (note the sarcasm...)

Anyway, I believe it. Otherwise the fiance would certainly have been shown in the audience a few times, right?

I just hate how the woman always gets blamed for everything. Would it be better for her to accept the gifts and sleep with the guys?

She's only 19. I Know it's technically legal, but some 30-something year old man should not be trying to score with a 19 year-old. Come on, what woman doesn't use her looks to get what she wants. If a man who has been with a woman who has dealt with his crap for 6 years doesn't appreciate what he has and wants to score with a teenager, then he should be taken advantage of.

Maybe she'll end up with a man who will give her stuff, and then she'll give him stuff, they'll split the bills when they go out and just be relaxed and equal like that. It happens. You'd be amazed at what women can do these days, yes, even the cute blonde ones.

Oh, Lyz, thanks for the heads up! I didn't know the Gospel according to E! had covered this! ;-)

The fiance was in the audience and they interviewed her during the results show. In fact, if you go to youtube and look for the clip, you'll see him hugging Julianne and ushering her towards the audience where his fiance hugs them both after he's announced the winner.

To me, the break up could have been about him realizing he wasn't getting everything he wanted out of the other relationship, and if they found out before marriage and kids, then God has blessed them.

ALSO,

in the show on Monday, Helio was shown as setting up some surprises for her as a way to thank her for being such a great teacher. They were a bunch of balloons and a a meeting with some Country group whose name eludes me (help me people)...so if those were the "gifts", then....no.

sometimes it has less to do with who the girl is more to do with the competitive nature of men.
If one girl is object of desire of one of the Roosters, then all the rooster decide they have to have that chick.
It happens all the time.

Wow....tough crowd! Come on, this is a 19 year old girl.... Think back, ladies, before you understood that you had to use your powers over men for good instead of evil, didn't you accept some things, even if it was just a drink or two, that you maybe shouldn't have? Or maybe it's just me...

i agree JR at 19 i had a guy give me a monthly allowance plus he paid for my expenses as well..cause i was not going to turn it down but i never asked for it cause men give more when you dont ask them..

YahMoBThere said...

Not such a tough crowd, only a few felt differently than you, jr.

Ha! Just because someone offers you something doesnt mean you have to take it.

The POLITE thing to do as a LADY, and I would know because I have done this more than once, is to say "I'm sorry, it was lovely, but I just cant accept such a gift. I'm sure it was quite expensive, and as you had no occasion to give it to me, I'd feel uncomfortable."

Simple. As. That. To do anything less is to put yourself on a level lower than the gift giver, and accepting it is either in poor taste or leading them on.

Unknown said...

Trix, obviously you were mature beyond your years and I'm sure the men involved appreciated your honesty....

Not having a lot of experience at 18 and 19, however, and not understanding exactly WHAT accepting such things meant, I can honestly say that I may have given the wrong impression in a few cases. So I'm not quite ready to brand Julianne a bitch.

Carte Blanche said...

I'd never accept such an expensive gift, because guys think it means you owe them. Eech!

Kevin Connolly is stupid for giving a "friend" such a gift. I wonder if she's a friend that gives out "benefits"?

I can understand a wee bit of naivete, I mean...I can remember a time when I was too weak willed to speak up if I felt uncomfortable, and just kept smiling...but that led me to getting felt up by a 90 year old man whom I was just trying to sell a steak to, and I realized it had to stop.

I just wish girls would put themselves on the same level as guys, and see themselves as an equal. If they did, they wouldnt accept "gifts", no matter how much it helped them out personally. Ask yourself, would this person do this for someone of the sex they are not attracted to? The answer should weigh heavily on your next decision.

YahMoBThere said...

Honestly, we don't know what her response was, and if I was 19 and insisted on giving it back, and it fell on deaf ears, I might keep it, too.

Again, the woman gets all the blame. HE was wrong for buying it in the first place.

J said...

Twisted Sister, I thought that girl that hugged Helio and Julianne was Helio's sister.

YahMoBThere said...

j, you're absolutely right and I was coming back here this morning to state that. I did some further digging last night after reading his ex-fiance's statement that she hasn't seen him for months, and learned I was confuzzled.

My bad and thanks for the correction!

Pfft hell yeah the woman is getting the blame. For as much as its his responsibility to not do things like that, its jsut as much her responsibility to have a backbone.
