I had an english muffin with honey, butter and peanut butter this morning, and I'm drinking un sweetened ice tea. Thinking about a job interview I'm excited about.Not sure what I'll do for lunch.... I like the idea of the Enty cocktail, a bloody mary with bacon you say? Yum!

MMM yumm you all are making me hungry, I havnt been able to eat much for 3 days, due to a personal saga of getting super drunk and screaming for stevie nicks to "COME TO MAMA!!!" 3nights ago at the best concert ever. @Gayeld: Aren't ponies the craziest damn animals? My neighbor had one that got loose one time. Once we cornered and got a hold of it, we had to have one rope on the halter for steering and one around its throat for brakes.
This. This has been my favorite thread in days/weeks. Thanks for the laughs....I needed laughs along with the normal CDAN distraction this week. I had surgery a week ago and am still recovering. Some days are better than others (of course). I also feel rather inferior for having popcorn for lunch. I think I need to be more creative for dinner.
I normally only skim the comments (or just read VIPs guess!) but I read this entire thread. A few comments:
1) I don't like bananas. I wish I did but they are gross. Kiwi is a good source of potassium too.
2) I ate the lunch I brought in to work today for breakfast so I went out and grabbed a burger. It was so-so.
3) I don't like the Quorn brand at all. Teh Kroger brand of the meatless burgers are awesome, if you get Kroger. Simple Truth is the name on it. I'm not a vegetarian, I just eat that way sometimes.
4) I love tofu. Especially fried.
5) We use the 3D whitening toothpaste. My teeth don't seem much whiter but I do smoke and drink a decent amount of coffee and red wine and they aren't brown.
6) I have no idea who Emma Roberts is.
7) I didn't know you could buy Arnold Palmer in a can. Lemonade gives me heartburn.
8) I'm crampy today.
9) Breakfast for dinner sounds like the best idea I've heard today.
10) Congrats to the preggers, new jobbers, and good vibes sent to the biopsy results waiter.
I think I covered most of it.

@ethorne. Oh God, I'm laughing so hard I may pee my pants. A guy at my work asked that about some salsa a co-worker brought in (he meant to say homemade) and we didn't let him live it down for years. Chela and I still refer to the time he called her a "ho." Nothing funnier than watching him try to dig himself out that hole.
As for how the tofu is made, it's an organic grocery co-op, I just pray they've bathed in the last week and buy the prepackaged stuff.

I'm just having some tomato soup with parm. cheese and toast. Last night I make a Mexican shrimp salad - spicy and delish! Never had tartar with french fries, but did go through a hollandaise with fries period when I worked at an English pub. Love tea, coffee, and juice.

All this food talk made me think of this great dish. It's a perogy bake. Cool the perogies part way put in Italian sausage, bacon bits, whatever other meat. Green onions tomatoes and cheese on top. Bale for like 30 mins then top with salsa and sour cream! Mommy now I want for dinner.

Arnold Palmers...delicious! Another of my favorite Summer drinks is Pimms Cup - but, it's got to be made with a nice slice of cucumber - and ginger ale. Oh, and I like frozen red grapes as a snack in the evening - kind of like eating grape sorbet...terrific! Oh, and I'm not really into cilantro - tastes like Handy Wipes. Although a tiny bit of it in Indian or Mexican food can be nice...
