At an event this week, this B- list mostly movie actress who made her fame in television and movies was asked about who she is dating. She said to every reporter on the red carpet that she was looking for the right guy and going on lots of dates. The thing is that at the end of the red carpet, was her assistant/girlfriend. Our actress has not dated a guy in almost a decade.

I think I remember seeing that quote in a headline earlier this week and I laughed because Michelle Rodriguez said it. But I don't remember if I saw it on TMZ People or ONTD.

Being Latina myself, and gay it is hard to come out(it wasn't for me but for friends)...especially because Latino men are macho and old school. Latina women are supposed to be married to men, and have lots of babies.
I doubt she'll ever come out. It is sad.

There has never been any doubt whatsoever that Michelle is gay right from the start. Why she even bothers to pretend to be straight when obviously no one cares. It's not as if her career is based on being a sex symbol.
I always got the impression that she was in the closet, not just publicly but in her home life/family life as well. I think it's not just about fame and her career. I feel bad for her, if that's the case.
I grew up with the absolute most supportive parents ever and never for a second questioned that they would love me no matter what. I wish everyone could have that.
Last night Michelle and Vin Diesel were introduced on the Voice as a promo for their movie. He came across as a bit slow, and -- totally unrelated before someone jumps on me -- I couldn't help thinking, aren't they BOTH in the closet? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I was under the impression that Michelle had come out at a lesbian, or at least bi, early on in her career--am I remembering that wrong? It's definitely her life to live as she sees fit, but I do hope she isn't twisting herself into knots having to live a lie. :-(

Anothergrayhare, you're spot on. Vin IS gay - and closeted. I worked with one of his beards in the early 2000's - a young slavic model - and she openly admitted that it was an arrangement. Very pretty, very voluptuous and not terribly bright.
