What Hollywood power couple both on and off-screen never officially confirmed their marriage, but there was that one time about a few years into their relationship that they both went to Mexico so he could get a quickie divorce from his wife [a devout Catholic like him] and they could get hitched? The female half of the couple never met his ex-wife until after the man died and eventually became good friends with both his kids.

This doesn't seem scandalous in any way.
Everyone knew he was married and his wife was catholic and he was with Kate and that Kate met wife 1 after he died. Literally everyone knew this.
Where's the Blind? A rumored secret marriage? That happened in the 1940s/50s?

I can't believe that Mr. X is trying to sell the "great love affair" bs for Tracy/Hepburn, rather than their being codependent gay besties. What, Scotty Bowers was lying about the 150 women he hired for Kate? Her first husband wasn't actually gay? Laura Harding didn't refer to herself as Kate's "wife"? Betty Page didn't openly talk about being hired for a night of "photography" (cost to Kate $1000) and letting Kate do all the licking? Sheesh.
And Spencer never lived in a cottage on (gay) George Cukor's estate, either? Riiight.
Spencer Tracy never had an ex-wife...& i may be wrong but i thought that Scotty Bowers boasting about hooking up with Spencer & all the rest was never corroborated--& didn't he want to get paid to "spill the beans"??
