Thx@Janet...not taking away from current tragedy, but as we've all noted, he was so absentee AND has multiple children, expecting another- wow. He needs to get some "pregorative", at this point...
Flava Flav is an excellent guess and Public Enemy was definetly an A list group.
I don't think it's Bobby Brown because he is still an active member of New Edition.

I feel for him. No parent should have to go through that. I would not be surprised if he turned to substances at this time given his history of addiction.

I feel for him too. I believe he loves his children but he also has a substance problem. I'm sure (if this BI is true) that with BK in the state shes in,it has set Bobby into a tail spin. I really hope he gets help and can be a better father at least to his new baby that's on the way. I know this has got to be hard on him.

Trish, while I do understand if this is Bobby. Wow... I have concerns since he hooked up with another addict. The wife has been arrested for DUI and it has been proven Whitney was already a big cokehead (crack is whack) before Bobby, thanks to her sibling. When addicts together the kids suffer. And we can see his siblings are no help to finding a cure for a damn thing but drama. I am thinking how much longer will the hospital keep her. I mean isn't she really no hope, girl is gone, just bury the poor child. I don't know what it means to have seizures when taken off of ventilator or breathing tube but it didn't sound at all hopeful. Indeed Poor Bobby.
There were rumors at the beginning of his career that Bobby Brown had bipolar disorder. I believe he talked about being a spendaholic in the early days which is a sign of bipolar illness (manic phase). He may have turned to drugs, in part, for self medication.
BB is an alcoholic, not crack head. This reads more like Flava Flav to me.
Bobby was a crackhead before Whitney also.
so much hurt and pain out there. It sounds as though two addictive personalities hooked up and had this child who is in really bad shape before brain injury. Now I am understanding she is NOT brain dead and I guess there is hope. But not if he is smoking crack again especially on hospital gowns. I don't think the wife is a positive influence but then why would he pick someone sober? How would that work for him? Didn't work for his daughter? Or his ex-wife.
