This lead singer of a one hit wonder band with a strange name had women throwing themselves at him two years ago was playing at a club the other night and told a woman he was the singer of the group that was headlining. She said she had never heard of the group so he started singing the one hit and told the woman they should go back to the bus and he could show her around his bunk. She turned him down cold.

I guess she didn't want to see his Pumped Up Kicks.
Pumped Up Kicks was that really catchy tune everyone mindlessly sang to a few summers until they realized the words were about gleefully shooting a bunch of kids and making them run (in their pumped up kicks). It was so damn creepy I'd be surprised if any stations ever give the band a second chance, even if they were to produce another song with a seemingly catchy mindless summer beat.
