Apparently in between making bad movies and sleeping with every woman in Hollywood and beyond, this foreign born A list mostly movie actor does some good. The actor has a soft spot in his heart for surfing and started two separate camps for underprivileged kids to learn how to surf and even for some, be in the ocean for the first time. The actor donated the surfboards, wetsuits and pays for all the salaries of the instructors who hold the camps throughout the summer.

I wonder if he's involved in the programs where I live (Kelly Slater's area) where police and surfing organizations try to use surfing and other water sports to try and keep kids from turning to drugs out of boredom and lack of things to do?
12 years ago while on vacation in Hawaii, we took a surfing lesson.
I was so exhausted after just a couple of hours, I never surfed again.
It definitely is a young person's activity.

For what it's worth, he has been with his girlfriend for awhile now, so I think he might have finally settled down.
