For the first time in 2.5 years, this former tweener actor turned frequent drug abusing B+ list mostly movie actor was seen with his significant other/sober coach in public. Apparently the tweeners new foreign born A list co-star suggested our actor should be more open.

since you apparently have all the answers it seems, because im sure you do..? where was this so called bf sitting?
My guess Zac Efron was last seen at a sporting event in L.A. with the same dude almost three years ago.
At one point he was sitting next to Zac and then about three or four rows behind him.
The dude was wearing a red jacket and then changed to a sweater while Zac was playing around with Madonna.
That guy with the red jacket sat with Hugh Jackman for a long time also. That is why he was mentioned in the blind.
Enty doesn't say anything about the significant other/sober coach being a guy.
Zac seems to be the logical answer. It even mentions he has the same BF for over two years, closer to four. That is what I have always heard.

I think it is one of Zac's close friends, not boyfriend. ( Zac is not gay) who is also acting as his sober coach. Seems to me he is doing a very good job at it. Zac looks happy and healthy lately.
It is a shame that Zac can't have a very close friend without being called gay.
Maybe the friend/co-star thought that being relatively open would help Zac stay sober
