Turns out the "leak" about the result of this game show was actually done by the studio who distributes it because they wanted spectacular ratings. They got it. Biggest numbers in over a decade which wouldn't have happened without the leak.

It was more interesting when he was on the show, now it's gone back to mediocre contestants.
It's a fun novelty, but most of the time, it's just fun to play along
I hate spoilers and this sucks if true.
I was watching and all these articles popped up like 8 hours before the show even aired for me. A total buzzkill.
I have no doubt that Holzhauer took a dive in his final game. His Final Jeopardy bet was a joke! The question is why. There's no way Sony or the Jeopardy staff had anything to do with it, as it's a really serious federal felony to fix a game show, due to the quiz show scandals of the 1950s & 60s.
My guess is he has some sort of deal coming up with a Vegas casino to be their sports gambling expert in residence.
