It sucks that Demi Moore started a trend, but she did so I guess we have to give her a tiny bit of credit. No more than that though. Demi Moore got the cover of Vanity Fair for posing naked on the cover while she was very pregnant. Was that Rumer who she did that with? Maybe all those damn lights burning down on the stomach were what has caused Rumer to be such a freak. Speaking of freaks, do you think X-tina's baby will look like her or Jordan? If it is a girl will she also have a beard? Wouldn't be cool if some celebrity baby grew up and worked the Midway circuit. That would be cool. Anyway, the pregnancy naked, and on the cover trend has been followed by countless celebrities since Demi with most not getting any covers at all, or just something like Pregnancy Today or The World Of Cats. Christina Aguilera re raised the bar again by snagging the cover of Marie Claire with all her pregnantness. Now, Melissa Joan Hart, is trying to play the same game. Although I think the former Sabrina The Teenage Witch looks lovely and I enjoy staring at her more than makeup face Aguilera, I fear that Ms. Hart is off to the pages of Sudoku Monthly. I only hope the same fate awaits Jessica Alba, but alas, Cash will be selling those photos to anyone who has $50 and the phone number of a hooker, so Jessica and all her naked, pregnant glory will be displayed everywhere for the world to see.

Why oh why oh why do celebrities think the world wants to see them in their naked pregnant glory? As a mother of two, I never felt more unattractive than I did during pregnancy. Are they just trying to prove something to themselves? To the world? The mind, it reels.
I don't know how i feel about nude pictures of Clarissa...

The comment about Christina Aguilera and the beard makes me wonder about previous blind items.
Many of my friends who have had babies said they felt more beautiful and sexy during pregnancy than ever before. Some say it was the ugliest most awkward time of their life.
And I, I don't intend to ever find out. Babies don't interest me.

I have no problem with nudity, nor pregnancy, not even pregnant nudity. That said, would these women consider playboy? Probably not (or wouldn't be offered anyway), so I find it disturbing that the most precious time of your body's life is exploited for $$. I honestly think these photos would be great around the house as a tribute to pregnancy and your family life, i just don't think it's very classy to exploit a natural process.
Woohooo, when did I become a prude? Oh that's right, I'm pregnant too. hahah

if i ever become a breeder..im totally gonna take pix nonstop,it only lasts 9 months and then that times gone and you only have memories. i for one would have loved to see a pic of me in my mom's belly.
The difference between these and Playboy, is that Playboy you actually show your goods. All these pregnancy things it's more about seeing the belly and covering up anything Playboy might want.
I remember watching "Clarissa Explains it All..." and it is a little weird. It's not quite as weird as seeing Olson twins as adults, but that's just cuz they're weird looking.
I totally understand the difference, dn, I just meant actually selling the photos of yourself while pregnant just seems tawdry to me. Exploitation is exploitation...of course, that is their entire career isn't it? Shit, I can't argue my way out of a three-walled room, can I?

I heard from a good source that these photos came off Melissa's personal photographers website when a link was formed between the photog and the celebritybabyblog she writes for. The photos are from her 1st pregnancy 2 years ago and where supposed to be a gift for her husband and not used online. Ooops!
Um, Woods, I never felt better, more alive than when I was pregnant. And I got more compliments from good-looking men when I was pregnant!
