Baby News - Lots Of Baby News
In probably the biggest news of the day baby wise, Gary Busey somehow managed to have sex and make a baby. His girlfriend is 7 months pregnant. I'm trying to picture Gary Busey having sex and all I can think of is him probably talking it all out first and then stopping during sex to write down some quote or falling asleep during.
Do you remember Aaron Buerge? He was on the 2nd season of The Bachelor. He and his wife have a new baby girl that was born on October 5th. Apparently no one really cares enough about him anymore to notice before now. He did name his daughter Avens which means roses so apparently he still remembers himself on the show even if none of us do.
Amanda Peet is pregnant with her second child.
Kourtney Kardashian hasn't chosen her baby name yet. She is still weighing offers from Pepsi and Vitamin Water to see what to name the baby.
Kendra Wilkinson has gone into labor but I haven't heard if she has had the baby. I think they said they were having a boy. Good thing because if it was a girl, Hef would probably try and sign her to a contract for her 18th birthday pictorial spread.

I was going to mention Amy Adams, too--wonder if she & Darren will be getting married any time soon?
And yes, as everyone in Boston now knows, Gisele had a boy--no word on names yet; since he was oh-so-conveniently born on a day Tom had off, the suspicion is that she had a c-section. (The Boston Globe said something about "many models" having c-section--why would you do that? Granted, I've never had a baby, but isn't a c-section a lot harder to recover from, plus you've got that scar (even if you did get the "bikini incision")? Or am I missing something here?...
Robin -- the c-section is popular with a lot of models and actresses because doing things the natural way stretches and strains things in places that vanity-driven women don't want to be stretched and strained.
As for Gary Busey...ye gods and little fishes!!!!! Who in the hell thought that THAT was a good idea??? The guy is crazy! Not just a saying in this case -- the man is genuinely crazy!!! Wasn't he in at least two blind item reveals as having (1) started a church in his living room, and (2) having started to pay for things with gold dubloons? He's a rambling shell of the man he once was, and he wasn't much of a bargain then by all accounts. Now he will be caring for a tiny little baby? Oh dear God.
Sunnyside -- yes, he has a son (actor Jake Busey) who is his exact lookalike. He's 38.

My brother-in-law used to work in an ER where a lot of celebs went, some years ago Gary had beaten the shit out of his girlfriend (not sure if it's this same one), who came to their ER for treatment. Gary then started calling the hospital looking for her. My b-i-l spoke to him and told him he couldn't talk to her, and Gary threatened to come down and kick his ass. My b-i-l said very calmly, "come on down, I'll be waiting for you." Guess what? Gary never showed. He's batshit, AND a coward!

I don't know if or how much this excuses him, but Gary Busey did suffer major brain damage in a motorcycle accident. He's entertaining, but I sure wouldn't have chosen to reproduce with him.
Kourtney will not breastfeed. It's a lot of work, and honestly, it hurts. So, no, she won't do it.

Also, W.T.F.! No effin way Kourtney is going to breastfeed. What an effin moron, I can't believe this moron is going to have a kid. Shame.
Also, in response to Robin: I had two c-sections, one because of my son squeezing his umbilical cord and cutting his air supply off, and the last one from a very rare, and very serious uterine rupture. They were not that hard to recover from. The uterine rupture was a slower recovery just because I had lost so much freaking blood so I was weak, and because I was under the knife for four hours, but even with the other, I was under general anesthesia (which is usually a little longer recovery time) and I was still up and feeling fine the next day. As for the scars, you can barely see them, so I don't think that is the issue.
NOW, what separates me from the supermodels, is that 1. the celebrities want c-sections because many drs. (not all because they are finding more and more that it is much healthier for the baby to go full term) will do a c-section at 37-38 weeks when the baby is considered full term. That way the mom will not have to do the last few weeks of pregnancy where women gain more weight, get more stretch marks, are more uncomfortable, etc, etc.
Now that I think about it, they might even find a shady enough dr. that would do an amniocentesis and see if the baby's lungs were fully developed and take the baby at >32< weeks so she gains even less weight.
and 2.) they can get a tummy tuck at the same time as the c-section.
