Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Are Not Engaged
I know you have probably been on the edge of your seat for a few days wondering whether Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus are engaged. Probably could not sleep at all this weekend wondering if there was going to be some internationally televised wedding and whether you could handle 24/7 coverage of Miley and reality specials and book and magazine deals and how you would feel like all sanity would be crushed from your soul if this were the case. For now you can relax. Reports that the pair are engaged is apparently premature. Miley has been wearing a nice sized rock on her finger, but it is not an engagement ring. Or it, is, but they are saying it is not until they make some sort of exclusive monetizing deal to announce it.

And it's a good thing he has some projects to promote otherwise we may have forgotten about Miley entirely.

Yeah @ donner, I assumed it was a publicity stunt to add to the Hunger Games publicity machine. Though I don't think it needs any outside help, seems to be doing just fine on its own
I was curious - I looked up Miley Cyrus on IMDB. Other than a completed movie, "So Undercover",she has no other projects listed in the future. Could it be she's starting to disappear? I see a centerfold in Playboy in 5....4....3.......
I'm wondering how long it will be until he dumps her a**.. his career is exploding, he's in about 5 movie theatre trailers right now. It's only a matter of time before he's going to want someone more A-list/ actress-y.
Hahaa, Patty, I totally agree! This is why I can't get on board with all the drooling over Liam...the Miley association is a hurdle I cannot get over.
I think Miley is just trying to ward off the legions of females that will be hurling themselves at Liam after Hunger Games really takes off in the next few years. Right now Liam is staying with her, but how long do you think this will last when there are endless girls offering themselves to him and if he was hooking up with Jennifer Lawrence on set?
Miley has been looking really good and cute lately. I also like that she's been staying out of trouble lately.
Now...as for being engaged? Highly unlikely. If that BV from the other day is correct, then he's still carrying a torch for Jennifer Lawrence.

Honestly, if you had just shown me that picture of Miley I'm not sure I would have recognized her. I don't remember if it was here or somewhere else, but I read that she was dieting and had lost something like 20 pounds. I'm not saying she's too thin here, but I think her look has really changed in just the last 6 months.
These two are too young to get married.

Eh - I'm jumping off the Miley-Bashing Bandwagon. She won me over when she hosted SNL and made fun of herself. I'm rooting for her to overcome her teen angst growing pains and hope she becomes a well-functioning productive adult.

I actually really like Miley. I hope she gets her career back on track because I think she's a talented girl. I love her singing and wish she's go back to it. Don't get why talented musicians feel the need to turn away from their talent to make a go of acting... Justin Timberlake, I'm looking at you!

maybe she feels "married" to him in her head so it is more of a commitment ring. But mostly I think she was just trying to get the media in a freny over her again and was just playing games.
I think Liam has acutally been good for her and helped her in some ways mature as a woman when he wasn't around then we got the pot/herb video and her being all sorts of stupid. Once they got back together all that nonesense seemed to stop.
I think it's a publicity stunt to direct more of the Hunger Games interest to Liam. They're getting lots of attention but he's not top billed and shares the spotlight for male lead with Josh Hutcherson.
I think he's stayed with Miley because he knows it's good for his career, instant publicity no matter what. It probably helped him get this role. He will dump her when he feels his spot is secure.
I actually like Miley and hope the best for her. She seems to be growing into an adult just fine.

I'd never really seen Miley in anything except SNL and on gossip sites. She used to kinda bug me due to how overexposed she was a couple years ago. However, I rather like her now, she seems to be maturing. Plus, after Himmmm mentioned Trish Cyrus in the same sentence as Hayden's parents... well, I wonder **shudder** what kind of family life Miley's had. Compassion, people!!!!
I still don't like her. I also can't stand the say she talks reminds me of a beaver when she moves her mouth LOL. Regarding her ring it looks cheap no sparkle at all. Looks dull.

FWIW, I know it's late, but I just read that she denied the engagement on Twitter. Also said she's been wearing that ring for months. So is this a non-story? It was in Kneepads (online).
Something sketchy about both Hemsworth bro's (older bro is hotter, imo, but whatever). Miley looks like she's sooo into him and he's just coasting until a better ticket comes along. I think she does look good (hair is cute), can't bash her. Just hope she's not shrinking to please him...
I think Josh Hutcherson is the one Jennifer Lawrence had the fling with. It makes more sense.
