Melanie would know Antonio was cheating during their marriage. Everyone else knew it.
Why would Melanie waste her money on this, though? They were domiciled and filed in CA, a no fault state, so it wouldn't matter. Todd might try to get stuff on Giada to force a fair settlement; she has her "reputation" upon which sponsors rely. Endorsements are more lucrative sometimes than tv shows... But, what rep does Banderas need to protect? Everyone knows he cheated.

Banderas - but it's just Melanie being obsessed and crazy. Yes he cheated, yes she knew and we knew and everybody knew for years. She cannot deal with this or at least hasn't got a grip on it yet. She'll calm down eventually, either that or OD.
