I was thinking Charlie Hunnam but he hasn't had a movie since 2013 and backed out of 50 Shades.

Piazza's not done any notable film work. However he is an ex of Asslee Simpson which would put his sexuality immediately into question.
Hunnam was in Queer As Folk early in his career. If he was gay he wouldn't hide it.
Michael C Hall? There was Cold in July, and Pete's Dragon coming up.
Would Jamie Dornan work? He broke out in the BBC series The Fall and won the 50 Shades lead but I don't know if the American-based BBC channel is considered pay cable.

He sure as hell would hide it to avoid getting type-cast. He was "married" to Katharine Towne for a few years, and yet neither of them (despite being attractive successful people) has been married again in the decade-plus since their divorce. And, despite the divorce, his ex-father-in-law, Robert Towne, spent considerable time helping Charlie with the script he was writing in Rumania (after he went there to shoot "Cold Mountain"). Much easier to be amicable with your daughter's ex if the whole marriage was just business, I'd think.
(I actually have a lot more re: Charlie/Kate, but I actually agree that Joe M. [much desired in the gay community, never been quite sure how true the rumors are] fits the career description in the blind better, so no need to go too OT, I'd think.)
I always wondered about his current girlfriend who you almost never see with him. They seem to lead separate lives, although they apparently live together. He always talks about never being tempted by other women.

I have no idea who this is, so I will second Dylan O'Bryan since the blind says hit cable show and not hit pay cable show (which would rule out Vincent Piazza, Joe M and Richard Madden, all HBO vets, two on HBO shows off the air and one no longer on the show). I would think if the blind was discussing Charlie Hunnam, Jamie Dornan, Joe M or Richard Madden--wouldn't it mention having a long time girlfriend or wife ( in Jamie Dornan's case)? Charlie Hunnam has been with his girlfriend for years, Dornan is married, Joe M is with Sofia Vagara and Richard Madden has been with Jenna Coleman for a couple of years.
Forgot to add, Michael C Hall is a vet of Dexter and Six Feet Under, both on pay cable channels and isn't he married for the third time?
Joe's gay, the rumors are true.
He's handsome and has a good body but he's not all that desired. He gets made fun of quite a bit. The reaction to his interview claiming he "would have starred in all these big movies but my werewolf, fairy, vampire tv show schedule took up too much of my time" was immediate and vicious. It continues to this day, almost every time he opens up his mouth.
Closet queens don't get a lot of love in the gay community. Go figure.
