This former Glee actor is back at it again. Being in that dark closet must be taking its toll. He went off on his fans because of something his beard told them. He probably should have got the fans' side of the story because the beard was trolling them all and calling them losers.

I gotta tell ya - I don't enjoy repeated blinds about closeted celebs.
Hopefully, I'm not self-righteous enough to even suggest that anyone *else* eschew them, but I'm gonna be shuffling past on these kinds of blinds in the outside lane.

Apparently some of Darren Criss's fans called Mia "Satan" and he went off on some fans on Twitter and said something along the lines of ‘Whoever called my girlfriend Satan, f$%* you. I was trying to be polite and greet you since you waited so long and then you think it’s okay to insult my friends and family’.

Especially given how supportive Hollywood seems to be around gender and sexuality issues. It seems weird that an actor who played a gay character would be that worried about the closet when most of his fans know him a Blaine.
Hollywood ISN'T supportive of gay actors, at least, not uniformly. A lot of the creative types and talent are totally cool with it, but the marketing and distribution people can be REALLY conservative. The thing you have to remember is that Hollywood is what happens when your theater majors (weird, cool, liberal) get into bed with a bunch of business majors (deeply conservative and not too bright). The whole town has a deeply schizophrenic feel to it - a bunch of free spirits, sure, but they play a game that has hundreds of millions, even billions, of dollars at stake, and they are deeply paranoid about how every little thing will play with the public.
This is going to get ugly very quickly.
I'd like to add that Box Office relies on people paying to see the movie, (be it theatre, dvd, streaming), and that population is both national and international, not just Hollywood itself.

So, it SEEMS that that Satan commenty might not even directed to the beard but to HIM, someone told me it was a 15 year old, and she can be heard " giggling" while saying that, so not only wasn't directed to her, but to him, and it was a joke.Apparently, he didn't even hear it, went away, then " someone " told him and he came back to defend the honor of his beard ( that doesn't care to defend his )
I just see that this then has became a way to somehow " santify" his beard, those idiots at ONTD made TONS of useless comments about it, making baseless assumptions, the beard got sympathy, someone called him a " hero" no less, i guess mission accomplished by his beard, carpe diem.
P.S i expect some comment a** licking comment in the next days toward the beard, they must protect their " treasure"
Hollywood is only supportive of sexuality when it serves their purpose. How is it all of these fans steadfastly believing Hollywood is so supportive of sexuality they aren't reading, or choosing not to read, all of these celebs who have come out in the last year alone. Ellen Page was only a year ago. Criss played a major gay character on Glee but his reps kept his image beyond straight and as recent as last year he dropped all connections to his favorite causes. If you don't think that's image control then you're being played.

I'm so curious how this will all play out. His whole thing was being the good natured, accessible and authentic guy and this year all of these things are falling away. With the constant mentioning of his "girlfriend" afters years of silence, to the sponsored tweets just out for a buck and now throwing hissy fits at fans who are half his age, he really seems to be changing and not for the better.
My take? Having seen the video, there's no way in hell (ha) he heard the Satan comment. That b*tch Mia told him someone called her Satan, and probably whined so much he finally snapped. I'm surprised, tbh, that it took this long for him to snap. Also, aside from people saying he told someone f you, there's ZERO proof. I've seen that girl in action in person and if I were having to deal with her on a consistent basis, I'd probably hurt people. A tweet defending her and allegedly yelling? Small potatoes. Plus, if they're setting up a breakup, what better way for her to get promotion for her shit band than to suffer a breakup do to her "boyfriend's" horrible fans?
And everyone agrees on one thing: big tits.
The guy needs a new management team. Pure and simple. He was with his manager when he came back to yell at his fans for insulting his girlfriend. (Saw the vid. A mumbled 'Bye Satan' with no real indication it was directed at Mia seems like a weird reason to flip out). A good manager would advise his client not to go back and make a scene, as no good could come of it. The reason Darren's manager did no such thing is that he is more concerned with projecting the straight image (whether true or not) and because he is unable to remain unbiased since he is friends with both Darren and Mia. I actually have less of a problem with Darren staying with Mia than I do with him staying with his current management team. They are a shining example of what not to do when managing an artist's career. Boy needs to clean house.
I don't think it's Hollywood's fault. It's more about us viewers. It's hard to buy a gay actor playing a straight character. It's like George Clooney or Arnold Swartznager (?spelling) in films after they've gotten on a political soup box. I can't get into their character. I love Ellen but I could not get into her playing a straight woman. Sex is still a shocker subject. A taboo for most. The less someone knows about an actor is best.
Darren Criss isn't coming out any time soon. Not as long as he's holding onto the dream of a superhero franchise that he's likely never to get. Bottom line is... The kid isn't that talented or good looking. No studio is going to bank on him unless he has a good story attached. Like a coming out scandal. Bad decisions all around.
I agree that it is partially our fault as viewers, but I think it's more about our BELIEF that a gay actor can't play straight than any reality. I guarantee you have seen a gay actor in a straight role and never thought twice... because you did not know.
Theres lots of gay actors that play straight. The 1s that pull it off are good actors. If they aint pulling it off its because they're a bad actor. Ellen isn't a good actor and when she tried playing striaght in movies before it didnt work because she aint a good actor. Hollywood looks at an out actor and sees that they're playing a straight role and that it didnt work out so they assume its because they were gay. Really it was because that actor wasnt good at playing straight. People could tell they werent good at it and didnt go see the movie. Heth Ledger and Jake G had people question if they were gay but they got nominations, they got other roles where they played straight and they were succesful because they were good actors. If you cant find someone believable its because they suck at playing straight. Just like some actors suck at doing comedy. Or some suck at doing drama.

To each his own, I suppose. Last time I looked the man was uniquely gorgeous. Men, women, boys, girls are all fans. I suspect there are many more who think the opposite of what you stated.

The issue is not his looks or talent. It's the beard and his team.They're destroying him. And isn't it ironic how all these blinds are coming out recently. Makes you wonder. He also needs a new attorney to help him get out of this mess.
CDAN really needs to stop publishing blinds by disgruntled fangirls with an agenda.
Mia, or is it Ricky, you really need to stay off CDAN if you don't want to hear what will eventually come out to be true. Unless, of course, you're planting them yourself. May want to tell your squad to stop outing you all over social media.
