I don't know, Piven's a nasty guy, no doubt, but he doesn't strike me as the "threaten her with a broken bottle" type. I can see him slapping a woman around but the broken bottle thing is such a "street gutter" move. He's a middle class brat from Illinois whose parents were drama teachers.
I was thinking Johnathon Rhys Meyers if the home and abroad could be flexible.
