I think it is fair to say that this B list mostly movie actress has A+ list name recognition who would probably be a B- lister headed to C if not for that name. Never let it be said that the right marriage/partnership can't help with that. Anyway, she is the best drunk ever. The only time she ever lets go is when she is drunk and when she is out in public it is even better. It is also about the only time you have a chance at getting an autograph or picture too unless she is getting paid.

Katie always seems to get dumped on around here, but I actually like her. She seems somewhat normal and sweet as well as a loving, hands-on Mom. Considering all of the terrible stories that have come out about Scientology, I'm impressed with how she took them and Cruise on and was able to "escape" with her daughter. It couldn't have been easy!!
Aww, I'd love to run into a drunk Katie! I think she's just a bit introverted, like me, and is probably great fun around friends/close acquaintances. And then later, about 4 drinks in, *everybody* meets "Fun Katie!"
I'd make an even worse celebrity than Katie, though. I re-discovered this just last week while celebrating a 'milestone' B-day in NOLA. The lead singer turned out to be my age, so when he learned of my "big day," he proceeded to focus his and the crowd's attention on ME for the next 20-30 min (felt like 2 days). Holy c***! Some attention is fun, but that level of sustained focus was out-of-body mortifying. ...Which might explain why I'm posting this rambling personal story 2 days late. I get to "share," but nobody has to read it! ?
