Blind Item #6 - The Friend - a Dancing Boy Blind Item

A few blinds back I mentioned this friend who lives nearby - a former child actor himself, who appeared in a movie back in the day by the famed known-even-then-to-be-gay (and Oscar winning) director. (My mother and I watched that movie a few years back, and near the end she goes: I would never let my child do that. The thought bubble appears above my head reading: lady you literally did that. It's the same about the non-parenting parenting generally. About say going to shows and coming back the next day as a tween and teen it's like: your father and I would never have let you do that. Um...)

But this blind concerns another Oscar-winning writer/director, who also directed the actor as a young man. This is the same Oscar-winning director (with his producer husband) known to be associated with the dancing boy saga. He may well direct the first theatrical feature (about the first 18 years of my life).

Blind Item #5 - My Other Doppelganger (ie Yeah You Wish Dude) - a Dancing Boy Blind Item

So, this is going to be a two-tiered cast - at least at first - and I only made even the B list because of grade inflation. The A listers are eligible for everything (including the prestige single camera stuff), and we B listers are only eligible for the reality and documentary stuff. (But there will be room for promotions.)

The first theatrical feature will then not include me as narrator, but - we hope - someone else. (We're talking to his people.) He's quite straight - he was married to the one blonde of course - but he played the first recurring gay teen role on American tv, which was quite a bold career movie. (You remember what happened to the actor just a decade earlier in the one movie.)

Blind Item #4 - Episode 1: Another Country - A Dancing Boy Story

In roughly the next 12-18 months the first episode of the first dancing boy series - this is a reality one - will air.

While we don't know exactly what will happen, a certain celebrity psychiatrist will be putting another dancing boy and I under hypnosis...on live tv. The reason? Ritual satanic abuse, he thinks.

Who is the other dancing boy? The subject of a very shocking blind in late 2017. He was a very young 14 when it started, and you know the abuser very probably looked a lot like him at that age.

Who else is liable to be present? The one I was mistaken for repeatedly as a child. The one with the mouth (they're still friends today). The comedian and former co-host (with someone already mentioned). The brother and sister (the latter was in the news just today). The screen brothers (from the gender bending comedy back in the day - written but not directed by the guy known for a different type of movie). The millennial dancing boy of dancing boys - who played that role live (maybe he'll reprise his other dancing boy role for us all - the one on the southwest sitcom). My friend from the School. The one who sent his abuser away, only to lose his career, and see that person continue to make movies. And one of the kids who will be auditioning to play me back in the day - among others.

Making his adult screen debut will be a  20-something former mountain bike champ who almost shares a name with a certain...pharmaceutical product they advertise on tv. For the first name (and the first part of the product name), look up. The last name is slightly different than the second part of the product, just change the z to a c and add another c - it's the same last name as the cool girl gen x actress. The medication in question is for plaque psoriasis and other things.

Blind Item #10 - PPS To Now The Sad Part - A Dancing Boy Blind Item

I hadn't thought of this part in forever, but you-know-who came to visit me in juvie (when we weren't supposed to have contact) wearing basically the same costume - complete with wig and moustache - as his screen sibling in the movie by the one known-to-be-gay director (one of my good friends where I live now also appeared in a slightly later movie by the same director - this was a major role and very dancing boy-ish; more about him later).

He didn't get caught then, but they told his probation officer and I think he nearly got sent in with me. 

I'll tell you later whose house we robbed - he was kind of a jerk - but I did begin to make good on revealing who else was staying at the Apartment, didn't I? 

There will be a tv movie about the burglary and what happened in juvie, but the really both sad and funny part will be the interviews we did of each other (ie filmed on video) - the actual ones will be included. And yes what kind of idiots film themselves talking about the crime they're about to do, or did. Also: we were dressed as...ninjas. (No one was going to notice the actor kids dressed as ninjas on the RTD, right? [Dude: wasn't that the kid from that one movie? Lady: I think they were all in something. I think they're up to no good.])

We also failed to note the cctv cameras at the house we were robbing.

You may have noticed I never finished the Apartment series, but there was a reason for that: a little shame and embarrassment. Not about the abuse (although obviously that) but about the...robbery. 

That episode of my life ending up with us getting arrested for breaking into this one fairly prominent Hollywood person's home in Beverly Hills. I had to do a stint in juvie (because priors) but a certain other person just got probation (both records expunged at 18) and...the wrath of his parents.

In case you haven't guessed it by now, the brother ended up in the Apartment for the same reason I did. He was a dancing boy too - turned out by some of the same men.

We didn't in other words first meet at the Apartment (although that was where we first fooled around) but at a house in the Colony late in my grade school years (he's a little older). We were there as...entertainment.

I remember quite vividly thinking/wondering what my friends from back home were doing that night: going to the movies, having sleepovers, getting into (fun) trouble. This was not that. I just wanted...to go back. But you can't, can you?

All I'm going to say is that this movie was not directed by a man, which is sadly almost enough to identify it (because few of those and all). I was 8 or 9 when it came out (dunno the release month). Little did I know that in a few years I'd be doing drugs and sleeping with...the kid brother.

It’s been a few weeks since I last saw that A-list actor and the woman he used to come in with. People around here keep asking if they’ve been back, but no, not once. Guess all the whispering finally got to them.

Still, I don’t think whatever that was just stopped. He always looked like he needed her—like she gave him a break from everything outside. You could see it in how he leaned in when she talked, how his shoulders would finally drop.

She’s a woman in her early-mid 30’s, calm, has that steady kind of energy. Not the glamorous, social-media kind, more like someone who actually listens, she works, I heard she works with some local arts group or something. He always looked tired, like the new dad thing was catching up to him. And when she was there, you could tell he relaxed a bit. They didn’t do anything weird, just talked, laughed low. But there was something there.

They might not show up here anymore, but I’d bet they’re still seeing each other somewhere quieter. Sometimes you just know when something’s not over—it’s just gone underground for a while.

Blind Item #1 - The Dancing Boy Confesses

 ...to something I haven't even done yet. See: I'm kind of resenting the fact that once again I am being sent to sh*thole jail (basically) rehab (and you know I rarely swear) rather than club Malibu rehab (ie the infinity pools, juice bar, and views of the colony). It's not that I especially mind peeing in a cup twice a week (although the nurse will soon be like: would you please not try to bite my arm this time?), and have even my reading material scrutinized (ie we are so not allowing that here), it's just that not being able to go the 7-11 to get me some candy may prove a very heavy burden.

This one day back in the 9th grade T (older brother of A) asks me if I was on the cover of this one back. It was part of a photo-journalist series: a day in the life of...(in this case) the state of states (if you work in this business). I said no I didn't think so (sometimes they did use your image for other things, but that was usually in house stuff: the store circular that is in your region, then another - that sort of thing). But I was curious and went to the mall book store. And holy cow I had...a doppelganger.

Fast forward to more recent times, and I am now a friend of this person (and yes we both like to surf - I really hate cold water though). So N** grew up on a farm of sorts - the kind which may be perfectly lawful now but was most certainly not back in the day. That's where I'm planning to go if I can...Escape From Rehab. I've never actually done this before (at least not in a multi-day sort of way), but you kind of wonder if there's like a rehab apb or something. I mean: does the word go out to all the rehabs in the state to be on the lookout for this complete idiot, extremely stoned and possibly running naked along the beach?
